You will get an email supposedly from Paypal saying the money is in your account, but it's a fake email.

well nancy the bi*** needs to buy a driveshaft and stick it up her tailpipe until it comes out her front bumper. i have three cars on craigslist and she wants to buy all of them. what a s**t, allthough its more likely a raghead or nigerian. its more there MO. usually the scammer is a missionary in south africa trying to buy a car for there nephew. i feel sorry for those they take advantage of. has to be a way to prosecute or catch these scumbags but seems theres not. good luck car soldiers!

"Nancy" answers Craigslist ads saying the wants to purchase the vehicle for her son but he does not know she is getting it for him  and she will pay your asking price as soon as you send her your paypal email she will send a shipper to pick the vehicle up.

I got a text from this same number today, saying she was Nancy Burchanan and did the same thing to me about the paypal account. I have a car for sale on craigslist.  I even set up a paypal account because I didn't have one, I hate people who scam!  

I got the same exact message two questions.  what is the condition.  why are you selling?

Got same on my truck, how can she scam paypal if she sends payment and I get funds in my acct? cant see how scam works???

Same here. Called about truck on Craigslist saying she has full price we are asking. will wait until it is clear and will send her transporter to pick it up.   I thought pay-pal is the SAFE way to deal with such situations....
How is this scam worked?     Definitely sounded fishy and then we see ALL  OF THESE COMMENTS.  Thanks for these places to get the word out.       Nancy, "JUST HOW MANY VEHICLES DOES YOUR SON NEED? Just received a call from Nancy Burchanan at 972-924-6219 wanting to buy our vehicle for her son IMMEDIATELY through PayPal. They say if it sound to good to be true, it probably isn't.

Just received text about a jeep I posted on Craigslist. Person claims to be a woman wanting to by the Jeep for her son. But when I asked her to call I haven't herd back. She said the only way she could pay was with pay pal. Thought it was kinda funny so I looked up the number. And this is what I found. Thanks to whoever started this.
