left a message on answering machine a women's voice saying this message is for Ron, my boss Tom Smith would like to talk to you his number is 972-937-6265. haven't a clue what they want but after reading post I won't be calling them back.... Caller id says NAZ and the above number.

Please report this number. They call our place of business every day and harrass us. When you tell them to be removed from their database, they get mad and hang up on you.

Thanks for the information all.  From what I have read it does not appear that this is any sort of a SCAM, unless that is what they are being put up to by the person that is hiring them.  They do appear to be a legitimate appointment setting (read tele-marketing) firm as a couple of the names that were mentioned are familiar to me.  

Whether or not you WANT the professional services that they are offering doesn't make them a scammer or a non-scammer though.  What the services ARE is what would make them a scammer or a non-scammer.

Got the same call from Maria who said a Tim Koonya (sp?) had confidential business with the owners of the company, but wouldn't give me any details. She then proceeded to tell me that he was an attorney. We deal with attorneys all the time, so I take those calls very seriously. I set up an appointment for him to call and speak with the owners (who were treating doctors that day so we had to block off time for patients) and then this D-Bag never calls. So I called them back the next day and ripped them a new one for wasting our time and loss of potential revenue.

DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!! Just tell them you're not interested in anything they have to offer and remove your number from their list immediately!!

Got a call from Maria saying she was calling from Court Howard's office in Bathtuck (?) and to call her back....didn't say why and I have never heard of Court Howard's office.  Call was from Texas, and the caller ID said call came from 972-348-9942.  I called it back and it was a recorded outgoing message for a Magic Jack customer.

Ann Marie called and asked her to call her back.  If she was not available I was to ask for Emily.  I did not call back.

Received a phone call from Maria.  Hung up on me first.  Called right back and asked for my boss (grossly mispronouncing his name so I knew it was not legitimate). They said it was "Dave Sweeten's" office, that he had some questions for my boss and that he would know what it was regarding.  I'm not even passing the message on.  The girl sounded annoyed that she even had to call me heaving a long, rude sigh as she hung up on me when I asked for more pertinent details.  If I were her I'd put some effort into finding a new job. .  more than she puts into her phone calls.

Emily still works there for jay and definitely a scam of some sort. Can't find out cause when u start to ask questions. Emily hangs up. Should report the number to someone

Called and asked for my boss. Said her name was "Emily", no last name. Claimed she had talked to my boss last week.  Would not give any details when pressed for information.

Got a call from Emily - same story as previously posted.

I figure...if they don't say their last name and/or the name of their company, AND the purpose of their call or who referred them - then it's not worthwhile returning it.  I consider all of these types of calls to be scammers.  And, for those of you who say they're "legit", then I say..."tell them to act that way."  Don't bother giving into your curiosity.  Save your time and energy!

Same as above but using different names. "Maria with Steve Timberelos office". Wants me to call back but doesn't say why. Fortunately all of our business is with local people so I ignore strange area codes.

I have a similar story to all the rest. A "Maria" called asking for the president of our company. When I said he wasn't available she asked that I have him call a Dave Stratham's Office at the 972 # listed above. When I asked what it was regarding she said "Dave has some questions he wants to ask {President}." So as usual I turn to Professor/Doctor/All-Knowing Guru of everything:Google, and go all Jessica Fletcher on these obscure phone calls. So, while they may be a "legitament" (*snicker*) appointment setting company or whatever - we aren't in need of an appointment with a business coach (or whatever) - we're doing just fine, thank you. :)

What a SCAM these people are!  Don't ever answer or call back 972-937-6265!!  A Nanette Damasio (supposedly her name) called our office manager and said that her boss wanted to speak to me (I am the owner), but didn't say why.  So, I googled the number instead of calling and see what scammers they are!!

They are absolutely, positively a SCAM. Called me, left VM, I called back telling them to remove me from database, and they got all offended and hung up on me deliberately. Twice. The second time with, "Well, just don't call us back anymore."

They are idiots and scammers.

Do not for one second believe they have a legitimate purpose. If they did, they'd simply say "ok, we will."

They called and are using the name Jim Barger from Barger & Associates... called back from a blocked number and just got a stock voice mail answering message...  I feel like posting their number on some gay midget porn site..

Very pushy and ignorant woman named EMILY called us looking for my employer, questioning when he'll be in, etc... wants him to call someone named GREG DESIMONE at this number.

Total scammers - I wish the F.C.C. would punish these parasites so they stop wasting the valuable time of those of us who actually want to make an honest living.

Maria left message to call Mr. XYZ back at 972-937-6265. Mr. XYZ had previously been calling us himself and leaving msgs for my boss who has not returned the calls. My boss met him once before, and Mr. XYZ is a business coach. So he's hired an appt setting company to make calls for him now.

Got a stupid voice message asking my boss to call 'Dave Smith's office at this number. No thanks. When they don't tell you the reason for the call it's sales or some other BS we're not interested in. I will ignore them as I usually do on this type of call. You think these a***s would figure this out...state your business up front & they might get somewhere but these games are stupid & a waste of my time... especially since I have to look them up & add my notes to sites like this so the next person knows not to answer the calls.

Anna, I have to disagree with you. I called the number and was told they were an arbitration office. They were not telemarketers. Its just another company who preys on people who are or have had hard times.

Not a scam.... if you would have talked to someone and took  the website you would have known that.....

They are not a scam. They are a legitament business of telemarketers/appointment setters for business coaches, I already have one. but you should call them back.
