Called our office today, but hung up before successfully navigating our IVR. Caller ID blank except for number.

just recieved a call from this number telling me that I was going to be served with papers in the next 24-48 hours, they gave me a # to call back, said good luck, then hung up. So I called the number they gave me, and I think the same voice answered, I said hi, I am a little confused, he said ok, well, Hi confused, my name is michael brandon and I am going to do a reverse phone look up, then said your # is not associated with any of our cases have a great day confused and hung up again???????????

Got a call from 972-961-4926.  Came up on caller ID with "City of Heath" which I am not sure about.  972 is a Dallas Metroplex area code.  No message and I did not answer because I was at work.  Stop calling me!!!!

I just that call,,,,asked for my wife,,,,,I said hold on a sec,,,,,and put her on hold,,,,,I have no idea how long she waited.

The lady says her name is miss summers and said I owed cash net over $700, which I  know I don't owe...so I said please send me validation of the debt... She told me that I was in no position to negotiate... So I told her have a great day ma'am I will be hanging up now, this conversation is over

Same as many others.  This women sounded like she was 100 yrs. old and very weak.  She asked for a manager but only used his first name.  Very unprofessional and since we have over 800 employees, that's a red flag for me.  I deal with "nuisance" callers every day.They try every trick in the book to get info out of me and fail miserably every time.  Instead, I have reserved a "special" extension for those who insist on calling every day, over & over, and who refuse to leave a message via our voice mail system.  I even have a list with notes.  The list is in numerical order starting with the area code.

After about the 2nd time they call, they get put on my list, and once that happens, they're done!!  Future calls get transferred to the dead end line, and they can let it ring as long as they want.  NO ONE WILL EVER ANSWER IT!  I hope they're running up their own phone bill.    

They are trying to scam me into paying money that I owe for a pay day loan. I've paid another company this money already and I believe I got scammed from them as well

Oh, you shills are just too funny. Can't even make up your minds which scam to promote - the fake kids' charity or loan "fraud".  Keep posting.  It makes it easier for people to know that you are, indeed, scammers.

MY WIFE WAS JUST ARRESTED FOR THEFT OF A LOAN AND BANK WIRE FRAUD FROM AN ONLINE PAYDAY LOAN SHE DID 2 YEARS AGO. SHE WAS CHARGED FOR THIS BECAUSE SHE DEFRAUDED THE PAYDAY LOAN CO ON THE APPLICATION WHICH LED TO THE CHARGES. JUST SAYING IF YOU HAVE DONE THIS YOU MIGHT WANT TO PAY THESE PEOPLE. We are getting calls from 972-961-4923, first calls were coming from Atlanta now they have switched to a lady with a southern accent, says her name is Lydia Baker with The law offices of Legal Mediation. They keep calling saying they are law firm, looking for my husband and that he is involved in in a criminal suit in our state of NY. When she leaves a message she states that they are putting a warrent out for his arrest if he does not contact them immediately. This is a scam!

Got this call too but do not answer any unknown calls or just answer the phone but do not say anything.

Here I go again---number comes across as Unknown Name.  I just pick up and then hang up to stop the ring.  When not home they call 3 to 4 times a day but I disconnected my answering machine.

It's some woman and it is a scam. best thing to do is not to pick up or report them. There was no vocie mail to leave a message, no do not call list so they sound like  they are not real.

Now it can be fun too, solicitating calls :) I screen calls through my Linux, and sometimes you can identify the owner of the pesty company and have the calls redirected to the main office number :)

Operators don't know who they are calling until the connection is made and name apears on screen. And the businesses owners usually don't care anyway who is stored in the call list :(

My best guess is that it's a charity? I couldn't find actually business listing, just voIP (voice over internet protocol) used in high traffic businesses and SCAM groups. however, I've found calls are being made from computers with an IP address, if just a single IP address is not know, I didn't track twice? Most scams and some legit businesses use a modem type service and anonymity software but my honest opion here is it is just a charity organization

Childrens Wish Foundation asking to donate money, very pushy, seemed angry when I told her that I work for a non-profit organization and I am trying to raise money for our organization myself.

JUST ANSWER THE PHONE AND TALK THE WAY YOU TYPE. THEY WILL THEN REALIZE THAT YOU DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY OTHER THAN THE GOVERNMENT CHECK THAT YOU RECEIVE MONTHLY AND THEY WILL PROBABLY STOP CALLING YOU. UNTIL THEN MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS AND IF YOU CANT PLEASE DO NOT VOTE.

I get two or three calls a day from this number. Childrens Wish Foundation is a scam. Charity Watch publication gives this organization an 'F'  I have contributed to them in the past, but after reading
about them and learning of this rip off I have told them to buzz off. Didn't do any good, they still call.  
CWF should not be confused with Make a Wish Foundation which has a good record with Charity Watch
and gets a 'B' rating

Unbelievable, I have had to look up two different numbers today on here from two different area codes, and both have come up on here as Children's Wish.    This boarders on harassment.    They are as bad as Rachel from Credit Card Services.    !!!!

When I get a call from an area code that I don't recognize, I don't answer.  I immediately search the web for the number.  Voila!  Today I did that and avoided letting this pestilance know that a real person has this number.  If it gets out of hand, I will change my phone number.  That's a bit of a pain, but worth it.  Also, when charitable organizations call me to ask for donations, I have no way of knowing if they are legitimate or not.  I ask them to send me their literature in the mail.  If they are legitimate, they will do it, and I try to respect those that go to this extra effort.

THis number is calling frequently and does not leave a message.  Do they look at the Do NOT Call list?

this is now the 5th or 6th call that I have gotten from these people all from different numbers.   I don't answer it if I don't know who it is during my work hours.  Its my cell they are calling.  This is getting nuts!

Have called several times, we do not answer unknown numbers to us.
