They are a scam! Do NOT give them ANY information. THey claim to know some information about you such as your email or last four of your ssn. But do not talk to them. Check your email, bank records and credit report for any suspicious activity. I am filing a police report against them today.

Number repeatedly calls, several times a day with no message left.  Anyone know who this is?

Yes it is a scam and they are trying to scare folks in giving them money for a payday loan that you didnt get. Ignore them and put an alert on your credit report just to be safe

As an employee of an online cash advance business, we get our customers reporting instances very similar to what is mentioned in previous posts. DO NOT send them any money, we never persue legal action for unpaid debts other than a possible wage assignment with a payroll dept. If we leave you a message, we will generally always leave our name and a toll free number to call us back at.

I got a call from these same people in the last few days on my home number.  They also called my employer and my references used when I obtain a loan online.  They same people called me from a 772 area code in december.  I told them they had to send me proof I received the money, how I received it, when I received it and so on.  They tried to read some affidavit to me and I told them to send me a subpoena if they really believe I did this.  I have not received anything else from them.  Be careful. I believe they set up phony online sites to get your information and then when you confirm they try to steal your identification.  I would contact all three credit bureaus and file a report.  That's what I plan to do.  Until they send me official legal documents I can confirm with the courts I am going to ignore them. Don't take their word for it.

same here. just got a call from a David Vest. very rude. and  i couldnt really understand him too good. Had was to much of my information . going to file a police report and cancelling checking account.

This company has been calling and threating my life as well as my childrens.... they called my cell and home 30 times within 15 min and are saying they are officers in a criminal investigation.... they have my social, dl #, address and lots more..... i have contacted my police dept and they said their is nothing they can do

these people called me today at my job and my cell 1-18-11 said something about a case against me and this matter was very time sensative and do not disregard the call they told my job i was going to be arrested for check fraud and a couple of different other things i had already told them about this when they were calling from 512-729-0222 this guy said he was in new york and i must come to the court house and pay 1500.00 dollars in the morning for a pay day loan this happened in dec 2010 now today i get a call from a terry johnson and he gave me a case number and he knew the last four digets of my socal card number i have notafied my bank changed my info and contacted the local pd wish they would atleast stop calling my job

I almost sent them money.... thank god i didnt !!!!  It really scares me that they have all my personal information.They have harrassed me for a week  they even called my brother looking for me.  Should i do a police report ?

they did the same thing to me told me I got money from an instant cash, they even threatened me, I changed my website and phone #

I got a call from this number and he left me a msg.  he's in for a rude awakening.

Our business recieved a call today from 972-996-3164  the fellow had a thick Indian accent and was hard to understand he started off by saying that we were listed as a reference for someone who was doing criminal activity and then later said he ws from a money loaning business. He said his name is Jimmy Jones from Texas. It was such a scam and I told him not to ever call here again.  He stated that he will keep calling. Hmmmm.

My son (in the last 2 hours), niece (within the hour), nephew all received the same phone call in the last few days. And these people knew all my son's personal information, and yes this is scary. I have informed him that he needs to call the police to file a report. But what else do you do you? How did this come about?

I have received calls from this number over the past 2 weeks - he says his name is Frank Allen and you know it is a lie because he can hardly speak English - says he is from some Affiliated law office and states the last 4 number of my social security number and says he is giving me a courtesy call before I am turned in to law enforcement.  I do not have outstanding loans and know that he is lying.

I have been receiving calls from this number asking for an old employee. The caller's name this time was Charles Brown and he can't speak a lick of english. He talked faster than Little Blabbermouse on crack. I have had this phone number for over 4 years and they still call for this old employee. Well, I guess they won't be collecting on that debt. Can they please hire people who can speak english? They really need to stop calling at lunch time because I am not at my desk nor answer my phone during lunch hour.

Ok, the police officer just left and apparently I don't have any criminal charges against me otherwise I would not be writing this ... LOL.  The police officer concurred with me that with the call coming from Canada it is just a scam.  He took a report and gave me a Case No in case anything comes up, but there really isn't much they are able to do.  My advise to all that is out there reading this:  just don't answer the phone from this number.  If you do, I will say it again... DON'T LET THEM SCARE YOU INTO GIVING THEM MONEY.  They have no jurisdiction to file any criminal offenses in the USA.

I have just spoken with a representative calling from this telephone number.  First off, the telephone number came up on my caller ID as being from Toronto ON Canada.  The representative advised me that he is calling from C.I.L. (Central Investigations & Litigations).  He first started out by confirming the last 4 digits of my social security number (ALERT!)  He then advised me that the call is recorded and monitored and gave me a case number.  He advised me that I was being criminally charged for 1) Violation of Federal Banking Regulations; 2) Collateral Check Fraud & 3) Theft by Deception.  He stated that through my email address and rattled off an ip address I had received funds from a cash advance that was EFT to my bank.  Now here is the scary scary part.  These people have way too much information.  I have checked my bank accoount and at no point in time have I ever received any deposits that are unaccounted for.  I have called our local police department and they are sending an officer over to take a report from me.  Again, these people are calling from Canada and have no jurisdiction in the USA.  Criminal charges would be done through your local police officials.  Do not fall for this scam.  However, because of the information that they had, I am worried about identity theft.  I will post as I learn more.  BEWARE and do not let these people scare you into giving them money!

yeah they wouldnt give us any info either we requested written documents and was told that their lawyers would not allow this. ummm well jack a**es if you are on federally recored line you will and once we say lawyer just like the cops you have to shut up and give us what we asked for.

take the number to the local fbi dept or your bank. also if you ahve a lawyer give it to them as well. I forgot to mention that antonio called our work as well but gave no message. we told our superiors to tell them to back off as if we suspect any wrong doing they will be reported.

samer here today they called  6 times in a row. then finally left a vm stating that my husband has been involed with theft by deception and that they are calling on a federally recodred line and that they will make sure my husband does a lot of time behind bars. said that he tooko out online loans but was getting the money transferred to an inactive acct that did not open until 8/10. same as yours they had full ssn and bank number. was very rude. refused to give name of supposed companies that were filing claims and lawsuits.gave number to my lawyer. ahhhh gotta love the legal system

They have called me and said the same exact thing. I hvae tried to get their address and more information but they just hang up on me. And they have all my information. Iam really trying to turn them in somewhere.

I received a call from this number, Stateing they were a criminal investigation unit, After doing my research and my many attemps to obtain information on the company they would not give me anything and repeatedly hung up on me. I feel this company is a fraud. So if anybody has any information please reply to this.

KEEP RECIEVING CALLS AT MY WORK PLACE FROM THIS NUMBER AND I AM GETTING IN TROUBLE BY MY SUPERIORS SINCE I  CAN NOT RECIEVE PERSONAL CALLS AT WORK.

I got a call from this number. The caller stated his name was Antonio and that a friend of mine listed me as a reference. He said that I will need to call him back or face criminal charges as my friend has been involved in illegal activity. This guy has a heavy Indian accent and there was alot of noise in the background. He was demanding money and even had my friends banking information and social security number!!!! The whole SSN!!!
