I started getting these text messages after I signed up to consolidate my school loans. I did this through a government federal loan consolidation website. Of course the government is selling my info...

it IS illegal.  But if you can't catch them, or identify them, there ain't nothin' you can do about it.  On a different website, I found where someone was able to track down who has the registration for the www.1stdebtstop.com website, and it's somebody in China!  Welcome to the world, where rotten people spoil everything that's good, including the world wide web.

Recently i have received texts from this number and another from a 541 area code. This has never happened before, i always call the National Dont Call number to keep my number from spammers and telemarketers and now i have to find a way to keep them from texting me. IM FEED UP!

I keep receiving the same spam on my pre-paid phone = a charge of 5c per text.

I got a call from 1-562-402-6677 twice.  The first time, I did not answer.  I received a call from this number a second time....person kept saying, "it's me..it's me"..then "oh, wrong number".  Immediately after I hung up, I got a text from 1-972-998-3297.  Anyone think there's a connection?  I rarely, if ever, received calls from strange number.

I also just got SMS spam from this number. Says it is a verizon cell number.

Just got a unwanted/unrequested SPAM TEXT from 9729983297. Reported to DO NOT CALL.

THIS IS SIMPLE, PEOPLE- THREE LETTERS F.C.C.
FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THEM. THIS WILL TEACH THOSE B*****DS!
IT IS A VERIZON NUMBER.

P.S. FUNNY! CAUSE VERIZON ADVERTIZING ON THIS PAGE. I'M LOOKIN AT IT RIGHT NOW.
