They called, I answered.  I said, "Hello?"  The fellow on the other end asked for me and I asked, "Who's this?" And he just hung up.  The caller i.d. displays Frat Ord Police and the number 972.999.4017.  What is this?

If your in San Antonio Tx. and they call from Dallas Tx. it's a SCAM !!!!

They just call, I didn't pick up the phone.  How long this is been going on? My phone no. is also on the DO NOT CALL LIST, so what the hell(?) What's this list for, then? They got hacked(DNCL) and they fortgot to tell us!!!!

The name of this organization happens to be the Texas Fraternal Order of Police.

just got the call,he said he will be very brief, I stood silent, he repeated, I will be very brief, (in a louder more intimidating voice, (i answered in a bold and loud voice, I'm listening) he then said, thank you for
your time and hung up.

yea thanx for the info yall =) i just now got that  call....he didnt say anything, niether did he hang up so after 52 sec i hung up im pretty sure they have something better to do then annoy the residents of fort worth

I called them back, and I pushed the option to have my number removed. The recording stated that it takes up to 30 days for the number to be removed! BS!

972-999-4017 called again today.  I answered and they asked for my husband by his first name.  I said he wasn't here but would take a message.  They said they could talk to any adult and would be brief.  I said, "very biief" and hung up.  If they were in Irving, TX, they are now in San Antonio, TX.  Caller ID says Frat Ord Police.  Has to be a scam because news local news said police don't call houses.

I just received a call from 9729994017. On my caller identification it said Frat Ord Police. Who is this and, who can I report this too.

these people keep calling & either just hang up or tell me they are such & such.... my research says the same idiots are using different #'s & different names/organizations..... this time, the dude said he was from "home protection".....sounds like the jerk has the mentality of a 2 year old !!!

caller Id says FRAT ORD POLICE.  So what you are saying makes perfect sense

Returned the call as Nora suggested and was prompted to have our phone number removed.  Thanks for the info Nora - hope it works.

I got the call today, did not recognize the number, did not answer, they did not leave a message; I thought it could be a scam.

Please stop these people from calling people

Repeatedly calls all hours of the day and night.  Finally answered because we have someone in the house who has just had heart surgery.  Only got the words out "please take us off the list because..." and the guy hung up on me.  Had asked once before, but the calls only increased. Am on DO NOT CALL LIST, but this doesn't matter to these people, or wishes of the person that they are calling. It is almost as in revenge.  I do not want to call and give number, because I fear that would increase the calls. Anyone out there have a better suggestion.
