I was selling an item on Craigslist, a laptop, when this number contacted me asking for my Paypal id and etc. They gave me the same info about buying the item for a cousin overseas. I went through with the process giving them my Paypal id. They then texted me saying that they made the payment. First, I received an email that went straight to my junk mail, second I called Paypal they could not see or verify any incoming payment of any kind. I then gave then the associated email that had "payment confirmation" Paypal then advised me to not continue any transactions with that account and advised me to forward the emails to their fraud department. Do NOT associate with this number!

Same happened to me, the same story and I was also selling a PS3

p.s. it was a PS3 I had for sale also.

She texted me to my craigslist listing:

+19732213546: (1/2) Ok i just want to tell you that i want to buy it for my cousin he is now in oversea and then i would like to make the payment for you
+19732213546: (2/2) through paypal so back to me with your paypal email id for the payment,i ll add $100 for shipping via usps post office

I posted on graig list and this same number asked the same thing paypal account and to pay an extra 100.00 for a cousin overseas. beware

Same thing happened I posted something on craiglist for sale.. this person wanted me to open up an account with pay pal and give them the id email address. they claimed they are buying for a cousin who is out of the country. I never gave them any information. It sounded like this is spam. Beware.

Me to give her my pay pal number . I rejected that person 3 days ago.
Today the sane person asked me again under different name to give my
Pay pal info so that number will pay me for my item, that person even want
To pay me am extra $100 to sent that item to over seas to his/her cousin .
After I informed that person that I don't have a pay pal and I don't want a paypal
That person offer to pay more and I just need to go and create an account at
Pay pal and give my account out.
Now that person said he is from out side USA and want me to sent him my account
Number.....  .
Clearly this is a spam and a fraud .
Please be carful and never give any one ur account and if this
Number contacted you be very carful and never sent them any info at all.

I did not create an account and never have that person any info at all.
