no message; i let my answering machine do my answering for me lately.  quite a few calls from this person/whomever.

They've called me multiple times over the past 2 days. They've woken we up 3 times. They never say anything, and hang up in the span of 4 seconds. I'm becoming extremely frustrated with these people and I'm a pretty patient guy. Why would a florist company be calling a 17-year-old multiple states away?

This number is for a florist in Hawthorne, NJ.  The business needs to be notified or get a new number.

I have been getting calls from this number for over 3 weeks every night from 7:00pm to 9:30pm.  I tried removing my number from their call list but that doesn't work (have done at least 7 times).  No person is ever at the other end and I can't get a person.  So......I called and reported to my phone company filing a formal complaint and then filed with the donotcall.gov website (have to be signed up on this one for that).  Now I am not getting the calls from this number and they have switched to 973-210-7591....I am going to file a complaint on them as well Monday.  Hope this helps the rest of you!

i have been getting calls from the same number. What i noticed about the call patterns with this number is the calls always come between the hours of 7 - 9 pm in my time zone.

it's a free service that allows you to register multiple numbers, so your number will be placed on a do not call list. After the number has been registered for 31 days, complaints can be filed. I plan on complaining once i reach the 31 day mark.

my suggestion is to keep a written log of the caller:

the date of call
the time of call

and file a complaint with the do not call service.

What can we do about these calls.  Since 5:12 p.m. tonight they have called 21 times, it is now 8:54 p.m.  Is there  way to report harassment and abuse?

This is exactly why I keep a loud whistle by my phone ... it sends such a clear and unambiguous message, and it's very satisfying especially for the scum who claim they "can't" remove you.

Just received another call; this time there was a lady on the phone who said her name was Myoene Jimenez & the company was Grant Funding Research. I told her we did not apply for a grant & that we had asked to be removed from the calling list after 12 calls.  She said it was an automatic call & she couldn't do that.  I told her I was reporting the company as we are on the Do Not Call Registry.  She said she was sorry for the inconvenience, but tried to keep on her sales pitch!!

Did you report them yet to the "National do not call registry"?  I did!!!

I also received 8 telephone calls in one day.  These people were total jerks and I reported them to the "national do not call" number.  I suggest everyone do the same thing.

This hispanic or indian guy calls my cell 4 to 5 times a day. Leaves messages & asks for Ricky. No clue who Ricky is. No clue who this caller is or what he wants. It's draining my minutes away (Prepaid Service). I've registered numerous times in the past with the "donotcall" list & it hasn't seemed to help. They seem to get around it.

Same as everyone else, we have received 10 calls from 973-250-4543 and no one answers, but you can hear background noise.  The last call we got tonight & a foreign sounding lady said she was calling because WE had applied for a Federal grant - which is totally false.  My husband told her we did not call & ask her to stop calling.   We are on the Do Not Call Registry, so if I can get the name of the company, I will report them.  Anyone know who they are??

I'm so going to do this if they call again!  I have received 23 calls total from this number over the last week!  And, yes, I started to apply for government grants until they wanted money...that was a flag.  When I finally answered the phone, the woman said my name and wanted to know if I was available.  I said no, she's out of town.  We'll see if that stops the calls for awhile.  The next time she calls, I'm going to tell her that I know its a scam and the police is tracing the number as we speak!  Thanks for the idea!

My experience was identical. They have called 12 times today!

This is the standard "government grants" scam. I've filed several complaints to the Texas Attorney General's office in the past 48 hours.

thats because its a scam - ALL THE GRANT OFFERS ARE SCAMS!  never ever pay a penny for this information.  that and they hook you into a very expensive but worthless membership program with monthly fees.  

ITS ALL CLEARLY DISCLOSED AS REQUIRED BY LAW IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. and they rely heavily on the consumer not reading those terms and conditions - but processing your order is your agreement to them.  If you read them - you would never process your order.  

Terms and Conditions can usually be located at the bottom of the screen.  Read them first - before you start processing your order - as you can see you get caught even if you back out.

Just got another call.  The company line says the name of the company is Grant Funding Research Corp.

They call me so many times a day that I am at the end of my tether. Today, they've called about 30 times and this isn't a joke. They even call at 3am sometimes and as late as 11pm. I am already ill as it is having just left hospital, and I do NOT need this harassment.

If I answer, all I get is a strange robo voice telling me something about a grant. I don't f****ng want a grant you nutjobs so stop calling me. If I try to get through to an operator, I either get disconnected or through to rude people who simply say no when I asked to be removed from the call list.

Does anyone know how to stop this nonsense? I'm too ill to be dealing with this crap

I filled out info for the grant but stopped when I found out I had to pay shipping n handling.  they call every day from 10 to 20 times starting at 8am till about 11pm.  I thought spyware prevented the transfer of data until you hit enter.  Gonna have to recheck that.  In fact I have gotten 2 calls from them in the short time it took me to write this.  

I tried the # 2 thing, but that might be the hook.  If you hit 2 they know they've got a live #.
I even asked the to stop and the person either hangs up or says no, the only way to get removed from the system is to receive their grant program and pay the $2 shipping fee.

I've even askedd them why do they keep valling me since I'm waiting for the info to arrive, they should call a non customer.  I never purchased anything but thought maybe they would remove me if I was polite and sounded sincere.  NO CHANCE, the calls keep coming.

My phone has been ringing off the hook. They started somewhere around 8:30 this morning and has not stopped. I tried to call the # back several times and it says due to a high volume of calls.....blah...blah..blah ! I tried to get my # taken off the list. It just hung up on me. I have so far about 15 calls !!!!!! Auuugggghhhh ! I looked the # up on Whitepages.com and it is listed under Hawthorne Florist Concierge in NJ.

got eight calls in one day. answered once when he said his name i hung up, then it rings once and then stops. i answered today and told the lady to remove me from the list, she flat out told me no, said no we have recieved information about your interest in government grants. i thought when i told her no it would be over, im thinking i may even need to change my number cause this is getting rediculous

These idiots have called 10 times thus far. The reverse phone look up on whitepages.com had the number listed as belonging to a floral company. It is obviously a scam... just block the number. B*****ds.
