they call several times a week at lunchtime and when I call them back, number has been disconnected? How can we stop these people?  Apparently complaining on line doesn't seem to deter them.

I have been receiving calls from them for months. I have tried the auto remove me, I have talked with real people and requested to be removed and yet they continue to call. I HAVE informed them that I am on the National Do No Call list as well as the Florida Do Not Call List.  Today I waited to speak with a human - STEVE, I VERY politely asked him what the name of the company was it is: Security Promotions and then asked to speak with his supervisor and he said certainly, just one minute and then hung up.  I called the 973 information they have no listing for Security Promotions. The operator also told me that the number is not registered to anyone???  So now I am on the hunt for General Electric Security since that is who they say they are representing... I am so VERY FED UP WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Relentless depserate scammers. trying to steal identities and credit card from the gullible and elderly.

they will use another number. Not a real company. Just criminals. Report to the appropriate authorities and NEVER EVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE. know your laws.

Whenever you get a robo call which are illegal that states "Dont Hang Up" it is very wise for you do not oblige.

Apparently you don't get at least a dozen phishing calls a day. While answering the phone is "not such a big deal" it's an intrusion. And good luck trying to find out "exactly who they are, exactly what they want, exactly where they are" because they will not tell you.

I just pick up the receiver and hang it back up (or press my speakerphone button twice) and go about my day.

I always wait for a live person and mes with them as long as I can. Waste their time and piss them off. Won't get you removed but it sure is fun. Sometimes I use a really bad accent or ask them if they've talked to Jesus.

Most phones have Caller ID now, usually when I see some number that I don't recognize or it says "UNKNOWN NUMBER" I don't answer, do the same guys/gals it saves you tons of head aches.

Claimed to be GE Security Systems.  Knew it was a scam but stayed on the line and asked why they called when I am on the Do Not Call List.  Told me I probably had not filled out the do not call paperwork correctly.  Put them on call block.  Just another one of the downsides of the modern telecommunication age.

Get calls 2-3 times a day from this # saying   ""The FBI says there's a house break in every so many minutes...."    I press 2 to be removed from calling list.  What a joke. Get a call back in just a few hrs to a few days with the same old message. Trying to sell security system.
Did revers look-up and was given Conversent Communications of New Jersey LLC as the owner.

This group uses the following numbers1-973-273-7822, 7820, 7821.  These are the numbers that called me on three different occasions.  All are about a GE Security System.  I opted to speak with a technician and let them go through their offer, even had them repeat the name of the home company three different times--It is  Alliance Home Protection with home office number 1-214-452-0007.  They said they had local representatives to install and furnish service the  system-so my next call is to them.  They do not go away even if you ask them to remove your name--just change their robo number by one number so your bllock call does not work.

Many daily ANNOYING phone calls.  We rarely pick up the phone, but the very few times we have it's about free security systems.  I replied, "We just had a state of the art system installed," but they continue to call!

Received a call from this number yesterday.  It was on my caller id as a missed call so I Googled it.  Was just looking for location of area code.  Didn't expect to find this site.  I will definitely Google numbers in the future.  I won't be answering this number.

Seams to be same company calling from different locations and the only way to stop is report to national do not call. Think this is a scam.

My Google is fine. I am updated. So I just report the call to the do not call registry.

Received a call from this # today.  Unknown name.  No message left.  Am on the DNC. Annoying!

I just received a call from this number, returned the call and got 'your number cannot be completed as dialed' (I tried 3 times) or 'the number has been disconnected. Figure that one out. These pesky calls are annoying!

I got a call from 973-273-7821 BUSINESS, first time ever today, I didn't answer it or ever answer any unknown call numbers. I rarely get these calls so I feel that if you ignore them they may not call as often. When you answer them they know your number is active. My rule is call me once I'll ignore it call me twice I'll block it. The only problem is Comcast allows only 12 blocked numbers and sometimes that eventually gets filled so you have to unblock the earlier one's to make room for the later ones.

Selling home security systems, press the number and you get a live voice that you can scream expletives at until they hang up on you. They call at least 3 times a day and every time  the verbal beat down gets worse for them.

Decided to answer to see how to classify (already know its a bogus call).  Well, I have to classify it under "silent then hang up" and "stupid people".

Received a call from this number. CID showed BUSINESS.  When I called the number a recording said the number was no longer in service.  It is from SECURITY SOLUTIONS offering a free home security system.

They have call before. They are high in price.

Tryed calling the number back and was told it was a number that had been disconnected.  This "security solutions" is nothing but a way to get into your home so they can come back and rob you later on.

Don't waste your time filing complaints with the Do Not Call Registry.  I have filed at least 100 complaints and the calls keep coming from the same people.  Your tax dollars at work????

I have totally stopped answering LD calls I don't recognize.  Once they know they have called a valid number, THEY SELL IT! They don't even have to have a valid reason for calling out.  This explains the hang up calls too...

If they don;lt leave a message and a return number, I place them in my phone list as ZSh*T as a name and block the call.  So far it is about 50% blocks.

This company call all of the time. Does not leave message. Show up as Business.

They just called my Connecticut home and offered me a free alarm system install.  The recording claimed to be a company called Security Solutions.  We have a company in CT with that name, but it was not them.  I know this because that is MY alarm company

Tired of these unwanted calls!!  THEY START WITH..."DO NOT HANG UP!"  When I hear that...the first thing I do is hang up!!
