I received a call from this number on 5/6/13.  My caller ID displayed "Fraudulent Call".  I''ve never seen this before.  After reading these post's, I suppose the DNC has flagged the number.  Only a guess though.

It only works on honest companies. What planet are you people from who think crooks are going to honor the DNC List. Duh!

I just got a call from this number. My caller ID identified the call as "FRAUDULENT CALL".  I've gotten a lot of telemarketer calls over the years, but never one that was identified this way.

It's our old friend with the "security system". My immediate conclusion is that this is ADT, that will put in a free system, yes, but you have to sign up and pay for two years of system monitoring. I got this call 24 Jul 2012 (it is never too late to report a bogus phone call); the phone rang 12 times, followed by 3 satellite beeps.

This is probably one of the most frequently used numbers we've received.  Always let it go to VM - and they hang up.

REc'd call at 9:10am - no message.  DNC has eliminated 99% of the calls.  Sadly the crooks have figured out a way around the laws by using disposable cell phones, or obtaining dead phone numbers to display when calling.  Best way to handle calls - do not answer unknown numbers or callers.  If you happen to answer the call - do not follow their directions to be removed.  They have no desire to remove your phone number BUT once you follow the directions then the crooks know they have reached a working number that will answer.  Just saying

Set up appointment but gave phoney name and address.  I can waste their time too.

If you have caller ID and don't recognize the name or number, don't answer. It's as simple as that.

My son and myself work odd hours... My wife is ill and I need to keep an open (live) phone working. We sleep a half hour or so... wake up to a solicitor... sleep another hour or two and wake up to yet another. Evevry Freekin day! We both suffer from mild sleep deprivation thankws to these criminals and the criminal politicians who relly just do not care if the DNC is enforced/funded or not. Living in Hell thanks to apathetic people who for them, this may not be an issue.  To others it is a living Hell....   Good night.

I've had this call several times on answering machine. Want to put a sign in yard. Same "the FBI says that there is a home break in every 15 minutes and U do not want to fall in your home and not have help..."

Without the DNC laws you would get zillions more calls.  Now only from criminals, so the program does work as far as it can.  This bulletin board is for us to share info (RELEVANT INFO PLEASE) about these criminals.  To bad most of the posts here are useless, often just rants.  Please only post if you have useful info about criminals.

973-273-7821 called me on my cell phone which is on the do not call list while I was at work IN THE LAB DOING SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT!!! They have called before.  THIS STINKS and is even Dangerous.  STOP THESE MORONS!  I did block their number.

I encourage everyone to go to donotcall.gov and file a complaint on EVERY unwanted call you get.  Maybe if we barage the FTC with complaints, they will get off there lazy butts and honor there promise they made to us 10 years ago to stop the SOB telemarkerters.  If they would at least make good on the promise to fine them, we could at least reduce our national debt three fold.

I get a lot of calls from this number.  Usually wanting to put a sign on my property and sell me a security system.  Gonna have to get a call blocker phone.
