This number is from Positive Energy in Connecticut.  They use various call centers with various numbers to get you to switch out your energy service.  They WILL NOT STOP.  You need to go to their web address and hit the contact, email a CEASE AND DESIST letter with your PHONE NUMBER and let them know that effective as of the email it is a OFFICIAL CEASE AND DESIST and if they continue to call you, a FORMAL AND LEGAL COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS is now sitting and waiting to be processed!   THE CALLS WILL STOP COMPLETELY!

Have received 108 calls in the past 2 months.  Filed a complaint with FCC, FTC and NJ Attorney General and have yet to receive any replies.

Does little good to block the number as they only change their number by 1 digit and their back at it again.

This number along with other numbers belongs to a company in Connecticut called Positive Energy.  Their ifo is: 751 State Turnpike, Suite 2000, Middlebuty, CT 06762 toll free: 855-565-7283.  I have filed with the NJ Attorney Generals office requesting an investigation and a reward of $10,000 for harassment and failure to adhere to the request to cease and desist.  Please use this information to go to your Consumer Affairs or Attorney General and let us put a stop to this! Repeated incoming calls from this number to our fax phone number.  Luckily, the number is to our Ring Central fax service, so they are all rejected.  Have now blocked them.

Try Dial *60 and follow the directions to block a call.  I have comcast phone and i entered the # to block. Now I'll see if it works.

they want to save me money on Atlantic City Electric Bill. AC Electric does not even service my area. They call me 5x a day - must be a private energy supplier but dont know who it is..if i did i would report to consumer affairs for harrassment!

We need to contact the State of NJ General Attorney's office and file a compliant - they are the NJ utlities company that's calling I talk to rep and gave them a piece of mind, and ask to speck to sa supervisor, and they just hang up on me.

We to notify the attonery general office of NJ of the problem, and have it stop or take a class action suite against them.

I don't think you people get it. The first thing you never ever do is to call them back. If you do they know your a "real" person and will keep calling you forever. Its very SIMPLE.

1. Never pick up the phone
2. Just right down the number and if you phone company has the option...just block their phone number. I have 35 phone numbers blocked.
3. Although it doesn't seem to do any good, file a complaint with the FCC
4. NEVER call them back and do NOT answer the phone.

I have the same problem. I get multiple calls daily on my cell and home phone. Both numbers are on do not call list registry.  I have called the number back multiple times to try to get off the list, put my phone numbers in not to call, but it does not do any good.  Who is responsible for policing this?  This can not be legal but nothing gets done. Stop the harrasment please.

I get a call from this number at least once a day.  Half the time, I answer to silence on the other end.  Sometimes they ask if I'm receiving government assistance.  I just want them to stop calling!

They keep calling. I ask for the name of the business they represent and they woul not respond to my request.

I blocked my number today and called them and --TA DA--it was GoodWill Industries--so so they siad. Then they asked for my number, called  me back and said they will 'see' why this happens..Uh Huh--I read ALL these posts and they act like they never heard this before. WTF.WHY woudl anay company tomroent you if they did nto ASK or answer? What is the point? Some terrorist torture thing????

It is asking about some government support eligibility and than hangs up anyway.

Received same call many times and they never leave a message.  Very strange!!!

I have been called once a day for weeks on multiple numbers from this company.  It shows up "Newark, NJ".  I blocked all 8 of the numbers it called on.  Today it called 3 times from this number.  It's apparently from "Newark Electric", which has no address listing and a no info web site.   I have complained multiple times to the "Do not call" registry, which this nember is on.
