I keep seeing this number come up on my caller I D. I did answer and said Hello and they hung up. I get at least 1-2 calls a day with this number..

Kept getting calls from this number. It was a recorded message saying it was JCP&L and I can get a discount on my electirc bill. Called JCP&L and they said it was not them. Called the number back and after many tries I got a machine that asked if I wanted to be put on a do-not-call list. Selected 'yes' and will see what happens.
I sumbitted a complaint at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints

Receive calls from 973-273-7894. If I am not in, they NEVER leave a message and if I try to call back to inquire, as to the purpose for their call, I get a fast busy signal.

Shyeah right. JCP&L doesn't even service this part of Jersey (it's PSE&G here).
Caller ID said "Lower Bill".

"Darlene" was the last name given from this unwanted phone call. It starts as a robot call but then it gives option to speak to a person by pressing "0". When "Darlene" answered I wished her a good afternoon and then politely proceeded to tell her to put me on the "do not call again" list. Didn't say a word....just unpolitely hung up. How do we get these people to stop calling??? I have "phone blocked" so many that my phone has reached its maximum. I, too, am on the national DNC list.
