Got a call from this number--no message & we are on the "do not call list"

Got a call to my landline from this number at 9.15 p.m.  No messages.

Got a call around 09:15 PM.   As it was not a known number, I let it go to the answering machine.   I did not call back but will definitely keep an eye on this stooge.

They just keep calling and calling even though I asked to be removed.

Got this call-no answer. I'm on the do not call registry. Don't these folks ever get the sheet?

Monday 05/31/10 @ 9:21 p.m.  Rec'd call AGAIN - no one responds.  I hate to have to pay extra for call blocking, but I'm really sick of the regular interruption.  I too, like many others have stated, have both my state and the fedral DO NOT CALL.

Got a call from "Sara" with an Eastern accent about international calling.  I told her that I do not make international calls and asked her to please remove my number from her list.  She said, "Sure, ma'am, I can do that," and I hung up.  Hope it works.

Unwanted call; caller with foreign accent would not respond to me asking what is/was their name. They hung up and almost immediately called back. The second time, I hung up. How did this get by the Dont Call Registry? I'm on it and it seemed to have been working.

**** BOLO ****  Got a call from this # (973-310-4050) at 930pm EST. Caller threatened to come to my home. I will be following up with law enforcement authorities.

caller asked if I make long distance phone calls. Couldn't understand his language - told him I didn't want to talk to him and hung up

Someone calling himself "Raj" with Global TelelLinks and obviously at a call center in India, called and asked me if I made international phone calls.  I told him was not interested, hung up, and then logged the compaint with the Nat'l DNC registry. My caller ID showed 973-310-4050, but also displayed it as "International", ie. - not originating from a domestic US land line.

Received call from 973-310-4050 on 4/11/10 at 2:01pm (EST).  When I answered the caller hung up.  Based on the above posts, I will expect to receive a follow up call from a telemarketer or scam artist from India/Pakistan/Bangladesh.  I suspect that the first hang-up call is made by a lesser worker who does not speak English and whose job is to assemble a list of numbers for the English speaker to call.  When I have time I actually enjoy these calls and play along acting dumb enough to fall for their scam.  I like to think that my wasting their time prevents them from using that time to steal from someone.

we got a call - no one answered - thirty seconds later they hung up!!! WE CALLED BACK THE NUMBER AND THE RECORDED MESSAGE AT THE OTHER END ASKED US TO ENTER THE ACCOUNT NUMBER - HUNG UP - DIALED THE NUMBER AGAIN - SAME MESSAGE ENTER YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER NOW!!!

Same got a call really late, replied and they hung up.

I had a missed call showing this number (973) 310 4050 and I tracked it. It is the New Jersey area access line number for Global Telelinks. By subscribing to Global Telelinks one can call many countries at a reduced rate, and including US domestic numbers. When you see this number it just means some one was trying to reach you through the service provided by this company; it could be any person. A lot of Indians use this service to call India.

Received a phone call from this number on 3.29.10 at 10:52 pm and I told him "what the frig are you doing calling someone at this hour of the night" and in an "EAST INDIAN" voice said, but I have an important question to ask you. I did not respond to him and he hung up! I have even registered my home and cell numbers on "Do Not Call.gov" and he still managed to get through!  I was NOT impressed!

same call i just received today but they didnt leave a message

i got the same call and the person then called back with an out of area blocked. number.
He claimed he was Adam Johnson from the FCC.  He was an Indian guy and I called his bluff and he hung up.  Something is up with this?? I am reporting to the FCC.
