I don't answer calls from outside my area code...

I just pick up the receiver and then hang it right back up.

99.9 % of the time it is a telemarketer or a scam.

Call with offer to lower interest rates on credit cards - since I don't have a credit card, ask then to please remove me from thier calling list - the said "Absolutely not" and hung up!!!

Total scammer calling from Credit Card Services trying to get your personal information.  Do NOT give it to him - its just a fraud call.

Please ask them to stop calling; you can not contact them back!!

If you're with AT&T, you can easily block this caller as I just did a moment ago:

To Block a Number From Calling You:

Step 1Press *60 on your phone and listen carefully to the announcement. It will tell you if your service is currently on or off.

Step 2Press the number 3 to turn this service on (or off), and then press the number 1 to hear the numbers that are currently on your blocked list, if any.

Step 3Press #01# (pound 01 pound) to add the last number that called you to the list.

Step 4Press # (pound) to add a new number to your list. The voice instructions will tell you to enter the area code and number, and then press # (pound) again.

Step 5Press * (star) to remove a number from your list. Voice instructions will then tell you to enter the area code and number, and then press # (pound.)

Step 6Press 0 (zero) to hear all of the voice instructions once again.

We get these calls and the caller ID says "cell phone" I answered once because I know people all over who are reconnecting with me. I didn't want to miss one. But, they say they are with a CC company that we deal with. Umm, we don't have any credit cards. I just hang up because trying to get off of their call list is impossible or they just won't do it. So, if I don't know the area code now I wait and let it go to voice mail. If it's a friend they will leave a message. If they aren't ... I won't deal with them at all.

Don't recognize this number, so just hit "quiet" on my phone.  Probably a telemarketer.

1 Minute Ago: The number on my caller I.D. showed up as "Wireless Caller" so I answered it.  It was automated "Rachel" again, calling from Credit Card Services trying to get me to lower my interest rate.  Press 9 to speak to a rep. I did and told them to remove my name from their data base and stop calling (they call once a month, at least, from different phone numbers).  As usual, the operator hung up on me.

Another useless, ineffective law from Congress. "Wireless Caller" wants me to lower my interest rate. I asked to opt out, and the lady said 'not possible' - It really is too bad that poaching telemarketers is illegal.

This... might work. Then again, they call from a different number each time. Any way to block an entire area code? Perhaps every state but the one I'm in? (At least the telemarketers within my state are theoretically within driving distance, and I could go visit them up-close-and-personal).

Now I only need to add another hundred-thousand numbers. I supposed eventually, I can block all of NJ, Washington DC, Oregon, and NV... (then the jerks will move, no doubt).

I pressed 9.  When answered I said that I was on a no-call list.  "Kevin" replied, "You're gonna die" and hung up.

repeated robocalls from this number trying to sell phony credit card scam, informed them this is a cell phone number and on the DO NOT CALL list several times to no avail.

Just called me went with the spiel of theirs and when I got a live person that asked me if I had 30000 in debt I told him to go F himself and I reported it as a do not cal complait afterwards. I do the same to my Nigerian buddies that bug me for money from a different computer.

Got a call from this # and there was nobody on the other end it just beeps..Tried to call it back and it says the # is no longer in service.they are calling my home phone and my cell!

Don't understand I am on a no call list.....don't answer numbers that aren't familiar.....if they don't leave a message...it cannot be very important, right?

Received this call several times and try to talk to them to say do not call, but they hang up as soon as you reach them.  They say from "Credit Card Services"

They call me alot and leave noises on the voice mail with no message. How do they get our numbers?

unwanted call on my cell phone - eating into my airtime for no reason!

They have started again!  Calls stopped for awhile and now they have started again.  I received call from 973-323-5684 on 5/24/10 and today I received another call from a different number -- 773-000-0000 shows on my caller ID.  I have started reporting every number to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.  Everyone should do the same.  These idiots need to be found and locked up!

same as all others wanting to lower my cc intrest,i replied i don`t have any cc and i have told them to not call and that i am on the do not call, he replied we are not those people dum a** ..so i filed a complaint with the do not call list . to bad this idiot won`t tell me where he lives and or works at  i`d pay him a one way social call red neck style....

Count me in as I just got a call from this number.  Tried to call back and number came up as disconnected. I am also on the NC DNC list

They have called dozens of times, sometimes 4-5 days in a row. Filed complaints with the NDNCR, BBB, and tried to file with the FTC but the site leads you to the NDNCR site. I dont know where it ends...

They are calling Canada as well.  Seems they do not care who is on what list.  I will send this to our DNC folks as well.

Keep getting calls from this number. They never leave a message and my number is on the do not call register.
