Left no message...

Sounds like everyone is getting the same message.. I got the voice mail about my car warranty too.. i just bought a new Honda civic 4 months ago... and i still have 4 years left... and strange enough.. i am from California...!!!

Calling me on our house phone.  Just like the rest of you it just aggravates you.  Leaves no messages.

Caller id - 973-328-7372 I didn't pick up and there was no message left; disconnected when I called back. Same is true for 419-947-5410, 508-534-1282. Who are these people and how can they get a phone number and disconnect it within hours? Thanks to all the technophiles. Where's my rotary?

This number called in; but we didn't answer.

Got a call on my cell this morning - no message - but this # is also calling my elderly parents home phone at all hours of the day about car warranty expiration. My 80 year old mother answers it because my 87 year old father is an in-home Hospice patient, and she's afraid it might be his doctor/nurse/priest.

This is elderly abuse.

And YES, our numbers are on the DO NOT CALL list.

There is a television commercial which airs here in northern California which advertises a Credit Protection agency.  The owner of the company plasteres his own social security number in the ad, on billboards, the sides of semi trucks etc. to prove that anybody can try to use his identifying information, because their services are so good, the id thief will be caught.

We should give these telemarketer scammers this guys SS# and name and see what happens.

quit calling and using my cellphone minutes. I'm not sure where your company got my personal cellphone number my car does not need an additional warranty.

sorry to disappoint you, but it's not just on ATT. I've been harrassed by these same people for the last year and a half on both my Verizon and (ex)Cingular phones.

we should all should band together, find the company, and file a class action lawsuit. I don't know about anyone else, but it costs me money to check my voicemail, and these scumbags leave a message about every other day.

I received a missed call on my cell phone from this number.  My husband just deployed and I didn't recognize the number and I got worried... I called it back a couple hours later on my break and it said it was disconnected!!!
Then, I found this site and realized it was probably better I missed the call!

They?ve called my cell around noon every couple of days. My cell is off at that time so it goes to voice mail. I wind up with a a partial message left by a machine talking about my cars warranty. Funny thing is I haven?t owned a car in over 3 years. Today I left my cell on. The message said at one point if I wanted to be taken of the list press 9. I did and it immediately hung up.

They dont say anything if you answer the phone.

The phone rang and I didn't answer because I didn't know the number so I thought I would google it. I live In California and these same scam artists call my home phone here. If only I had the person responsible for this in front of me......

This call back under other numbers and anonymous numbers tactic sounds the same as the one listed in your note for 973-328-7372.  These guys called me back over and over using 514-958-0000 during 2007.  I never found out what it was about since they were using a fax machine to my cell phone number.  I located some info on a site like this one that connected them to a known telemarketer, Express Consolidations. I called 888-589-7901 and finally got off their list, even though they denied all involvement.  Now, this is the next list I end up on for 973-328-7372.  They called me today with an anonymous call (of which I recieve very few) and it was followed with a caller ID labeled Concannon 973-328-7372.  They also hung up when I asked for a return phone number.  Maybe I'll be nice next time and see how far I get.

I'd recommend going to the national do not call registry, registering, and  filing a complaint if they call after 31 days.

I just got the same call again.  Other numbers they are calling from include 425-869-6371 out of Redmond, WA.  The girl I spoke with today stayed on the line longer than anyone else.  She identified herself as Ashley.  She said it was against company policy to give out their company name.  Definitely a scam and a complete annoyance using the renew your auto warranty as a cover.  If I find out who these #$%%^! are I will sue them for harassment.  No matter how many times you ask to be taken off the list, you can't get off of it.  They just call back from anonymous numbers and different caller IDs.

I've received two calls from this number in the last couple weeks.  The first time I pressed 1 and was asked for my car info.  I impolitely told the voice not to call me again and take my name and number off his call list. He hung up on me before I could finish.  The second time I didn't even get the automated recording.

this number has called my house 10 times since friday.  No message is ever left.  I also get calls about my car warranty from las vegas.  They call my home and my cell phone.  I'm so sick of this!  why isn't the do not call list working?

I got a call from this number to my cell phone today and they left a message to call back, but the message was 1/2 cut off.  I've got a call from it before, at a random time.....this is very annoying since my cell phone listing is private.

Got this call today, same 973-328-7372.  After waiting on hold for 3 minutes, I asked them who they were, only to be hung up on.  They keep calling on my cell phone multiple times a week.  Calling back gets a recording that the number has been disconnected!!!  Sounds like a SCAM!

Got a call from this number today.  Pressed 1 to speak with the "operator" and asked what company they were calling from.  They asked "why does that matter?"  Two more questions from me and they hung up.

Got the same call just now on my work cell phone at 10:42am PST. Didn't answer it but I got this same call several weeks ago, answered it and had the same experience that many of you had. A phone message told me to press 1 and asked me to wait for the next rep. I waited for about 20 seconds then got someone who told me my car warranty was about to expire. He asked me what kind of car I owned. I politely asked how he knew my car warranty was going to expire and he gave some dumb explanation like from a database or something. Politely again, I asked how he got my number and he said that it wasn't important. As soon as I said I thought it was important he hung up. Next time I will try giving some bogus info to see how far they'll take it.

Called here also. Scam.

Same as above, is there anyway to make it stop??
