I just got a call from this same number claiming to be Allen Chimneys .  Obviously I blew them off since I dictate who and when my chimney is cleaned ....but I really worry about the seniors out there who may let these idiots in their house

That address is the Bernardsville post office. I guess they use a PO Box.

I did not answer. It is not Allen Chimneys, just someone who took their number to scam you.

I called the number and was connected to some kind of Google based answering service.  I left the following message.
"Please remove (my phone number) from your calling list.  I do not own this house and do not need chimney services."
No lets see if it works!

Same thing happens to me. They ask foor my husband and when I say hes not here im his wife they hang up..its happen 3 times in the last month.

I received a call today.  They identified themselves as Chimney Cleaning  Company and offered a cleaning for $45.00.   When asked them where they were located they indicated Princeton.  They also gave me their license number.  They are actually Lysco Company and they have scammed people in NJ,  CT and MA.  When they call back to give an appointment they call on a line that you can not identify "private caller."  Their MO is you need a liner in your chimney immediately. Their work is shoddy and usually has to be redone.  Look up the reports on the Internet yourself and do not answer the call or be tempted to take them because they are less expensive.  When they quoted a price, they were willing to do the job today for a couple of hundred off if I did it today/immediately.  Needless to say I didn't. - stick with people who have been recommended to you.  Again, look up all the information that is out there on the Internet and check with the Better Business Bureau.  Elderly beware!

Keeps calling.  They don't identify themselves.

I have call block on my phone for cases like this where these people have called me early in the morning, throughout the day, and even after 9pm day after day after day!  What joy do they get out of calling so many times and never getting an answer?  The government's "do not call" registry is overwhelmed and they can/do nothing about the amount of unsolicited spam callers out there.

The number 973-348-5064 came up on my caller id when I was on the phone with someone.  Tried calling it back and it said something like the google subscriber is not available....whatever!

I just rec'd this call. Didn't answer, they left no msg. For all those that have been threatened - report it to your local police. I had another scam 'lower credit card rate' and the guy got very, very threatening. I wrote my Congressman and his office told me to report it. I felt stupid but no big deal and as I expected no results. My Congressman's office took a copy of the report and 'notified all the authorities'.  Doubtful anything will result from it but if we keep reporting perhaps something will eventually happen to get rid of these low-life idiots. Also report it to FCC.gov if you are on the Do Not Call list.

Thay call and leave no message, hang up when I answer.  Very annoying.  Would never buy anything from a phone solicitor as I am on the do not call list.

WHat they are doing is colleting data to sell your number. They figure out what time you are home. My call said "ARE YOU MR. "SMITH" "? and they caught me off guard because when I said yes they hung up. But I received the same call from (732)988-9018 asking me about Chimney Cleaning service. After she asked me my name I said who is this and she said "Do you need your Chimney Cleaned", but before I could ask another question she hung up. They sell your number to Zabasearch or other telemarketers. I have an unlisted number but damned if it isnt on Zabasearch. 973-348-5064 is not the origin of the call. This telephone number calls in the evening under Caller ID  "Out Of Area".  I do not pick up nor do they leave a message.  My telephone number must have been listed in the August edition of the  "Scam & Con Circular" (thats tongue in cheek, everyone!)  because  suddenly I've been receiving numerous sales and scam calls, despite being on the Do Not Call Registry.

I too have been getting these calls lately...they leave no message...they call LATE.

I believe you have Allen Chimneys mixed up with a company either claiming to be us or what have you, but we never perform phone solicitations.  We don't even do mail solicitations, simply online advertising.  There are a lot of shady chimney companies out there and we really try our best to do honest, reputable  work.  I apologize on the behalf of these jerks that they bothered you, but please know it was not Allen Chimneys.  Thank you!

I kept reading all the posts and the madder I got and called back their number and left them a very nasty message using some good choice Queen's English telling them I do not want to be bothered anymore,or else...

First time today..6/16/2012 got a call from there but they hungup b4 I could get to the phone.

They called last week from a Lisko Chimney Service.  (Lisco?).  Today they called from 908 722 9955.  She claimed to know nothing of a Federal Do Not Call List.  They spoofed the phone number as that number belongs to Verizon.

File a complaint with the Federal DNC List.

okay so they called my house when i was home alone and asked if my parents were home. i said no and then he said "ok good". he didnt mention anything about a chimney service but i was freaked out thinking that he would come to my house. HE NEEDS TO STOP HARASSING INNOCENT PEOPLE! why is this not reported yet! this shouldnt be going on!

I've been being harassed by this number for the past week. They hang up on us when someone answers.

I want them to stop calling us.  We are not interested.

They called several times.  i talked to them 2 times.  They told me they wanted to clean chimney for me.  I told them I don't use chimney.  They just keeping calling....  You think they should take a break?

They have been calling for the last month, at least twice a day.....once in the morning and then in the afternoon....they don't leave a message, just hang up....when you call that number it says the subscriber is unavailable and to leave a message so I did, no one got back to me...
