i intentionally not to answer this call coz there's a lot of scheme goin on nowadays especially when you dont know who the caller is. If the call is really important then they should have left you a voice mail right... good i checked this out on the internet and learned that this is kinda a marketing call or something. can i complain this number since i am registered on the do not call list?

received call from above number, said my bank cdard had been accessed by a 3rd party would I plewase enter my 16 digit number to reactivate it.  when i tried to return call the number got nothing.

It's connected to MagicJack in some way.  I called my office from home last evening using MagicJack and the caller ID at work this morning has this number as the calling party.

Answered this call(Im at work) the guy said he was updating an online business directoy and wanted me to verify details. I just hung up. I get at least 3 of these type calls a day.

Got call from company claiming to be my local white pages. Wanted to update my listing. Didn't know how to spell or pronounce my town. Strong Indian accents. Spoke to "Matt" and his supervisor "Shawn". They told me they needed to send the renewal invoice to a named person, so they needed me to say "yes" when asked if I was authorized to receive the invoice and renew the service. I kept saying I was not authorized to renew any service and they kept reassuring me I wouldn't have to pay anything over the phone. I wouldn't say "yes" for their recording and they gave up.

I just got a call from this number and they asked for me. When I said "speaking" they hung up.

Received a call from this number.  Someone mumbled something several times in a foreign language (could not discern) then hung up.

Another damn call offering a "courtesy call, the last one I would receive about my credit card interest"

got a call from this number last night at 8:35 P.M.  No one said hello when I picked up and it's not a number I am familiar with.

I got a miss call from this number at 11:10 PM. No message left.

got 6 calls in about 5 minutes from 973-438-3624(IDT Corp) and also from 037-903-6072 and caller would say hello, hello and then speaking in some other language??

I received 5 calls in a row from this number.  And then the next day I received one more.  When I tried to call the number back, I got a recording that the call could not be completed.  Immediately later I recieved a few more calls from the number and all I heard was a young woman saying "hello" over and over again.  She was obviously not American but I could not make out anything else she said.

I received a call from this number just a minute before. My sister talked with me from India. She has Reliance Mobile connection in India.

I have been receiving several calls from IDT Corp. Since my husband and I do not have any serves that we deal with that have that name we refuse to pick up the phone.

I got a call from this number (973)4383624, the guy told me that I have a financial issue and I got scared because he knows my social security number...he was mad when I asked him how he got my number...he asked me if I wanted to know the details, I said yes, and I took a pen and paper and suddenly, he just hanged up...

This number showed up on Caller ID.  they called 4 times during the night. Starting at 1:00am.  Finally turned the phone off at 4:30 this morning. Person on the other end of the phone doesn't appear to speak English.

I have been receiving this number now after talking with my friend from the Uk who I met on the internet.  All his calls befor say restricted but now it has 973-438-3634. I did a reverse directory and it says its a landline in Newark NJ from Verizon and for 4.95 I can get info.  My friend says its just his connection to call to US.

They keep calling from this nuber adn hang up when I answer. Very annoying,. I was gonna call back to complain but I am afraid of where i will be calling.

I received a call from this number on my office line moments ago and didn't answer it as I didn't recognize it as a number or area code that my company does business with. They did not leave a message. I have had numerous missed calls from them before as well. I have never tried to call it back as I figure if they really want to contact me, they can send me a letter! I also received a call from another unrecognized number on another office line an hour before (732-389-4930, Eatontown, NJ) which leads me to beleive these scammers have a computerized system that must scroll numbers by address. I can only say we all must be cautious!

Im sure everyone figured to work their way around all this by using a calling card number that is all, so you never know who it is...could be family or friend. or it could be telemarketer or scammer. But be careful, always ask for legal document if they wont send you one then hangup. or what my spouse says "BS with them, waste their time. They are wasting your time waste theirs". lol. but anyways...if someone calls for your money that you "owe" just ask for the documents or typed letter. if they refuse then that is where you know that its a scam.

I just got a call from this number but during the call i was not able to hear what they said, we just kept cutting out. at first i thought they were important but then again, i knew they were on a cell phone because they kept cutting out. they did say my name and ma'am. but that was it. so then i hung up. asked spouce if he knew who IDT CORP was, didnt know so checked online. and found all your responses. all various. so this is mine. be careful. know who your callers are. hope i helped.

I answered after many calls and there was a recorded message saying this is a call from TransWorld Company. I just hung up.

It is so unfortunate that we have to be so cautious about picking up our phone.  My husband is overseas in Southeast Asia and uses a calling card. but I have never seen this number displayed on caller id.  I did not pick it up.  he called me a few minutes later and it said caller unknown (also scarry) but I knew it was him.  "What are you gona do".  Opt on the side of caution every time.  Email and Skype are much better anyway and the price is right.

I received a call from this number yesterday and when I picked up it was a friend on his cell phone in South Florida.

I'm fed up with this kind of stuff.  I just re-dialed that number and got an automated response, "THE NUMBER YOU HAVE DIALED IS not a working number; please check the number and dial again."  

Yeah, right.

I am sick of people calling me from this number.  They are literally calling my house about 12 times in a day, filling up my answering machine with Hello........Hello.......  If I am not home, why call back so many times.  I am really pissed off.  I called the IDT Corp, whose name popped up on the caller ID and they were no help!!!!  Does anyone have any ideas how to get them to stop calling?
