my boyfriend calls me from this number .. he is stationed in iraq and i love it when i see that number show up on the caller id! .. if you have someone you love over seas and get a call from this number .. make sure you answer!!!!!

My husband is Stationed in Iraq and he has a Spaware Account and that is the prefix for the numbers that they call out from. Sometimes it can be local number as well but its usually them.

This number shows up sometimes when my son calls me from Iraq.

i met a guy online who said he was in iraq.  i didn't know whether to believe him or not.  i finally thought what the heck and gave him my number.  i looked the area code up that was on the ID and saw that it was a Jersey area code and really thought the guy was putting me on.  now that i've googled the number and read all these comments... i feel like an a** because i should have probably believed him in the first place, but then again i feel pretty good cause now i know he's telling the truth and not messing with me.  so now i REALLY can't wait for the next 6 months to pass!  God bless our men and women over there and may God bring them all home safely!!!!

I got two calls from this number last night on my cell phone - at 4:00 and 4:01 am.  The second time the guy left a message saying "I'm 6,000 miles away and can't come to the door and wake you up, dammit!"  I was kinda freaked out at first (which is how I got here), but after reading all your messages, I feel a bit better.  Perhaps it was a soldier overseas who had the wrong number or something, since I don't know anyone serving (that I know of) and no one has my cell phone number.  Thank you all for easing my mind about some kook on the loose.  THANKS!

my son in iraq calls from this number. You can not call it back, but I always pick up, even the first time because I know where he is and was hoping he would call. It doesn't matter where he is in Iraq. He has been to three bases and it's always the same number.

My son called also from this number. He also left a message. So if anyone knows anyone in a combat zone, pick up because this is the first time he has been able to call me and I was not by my phone to talk to him. But, it was a blessing that I was able to hear his voice and he was ok

Got a call from this number. Person on the other line knew my name, but I don't know of anyone I know being in Iraq. All my military family is stateside right now. So who could it be? I didn't recognize the voice, but it sounded like they could not hear me when I could hear them perfectly (bad connection).

Someone called me from that numba at 10:20am i dont know who it was! They didnt leave a voice message and when i called back it said the number you called has been disconnected or something like that... But i do have friends in Iraq
