I don't know the number as the CID was blocked but it sounds identical.  BOA debit card scam.  Please press 1, then enter your number.  I have o BOA account.

I got a call from this number on 8/1/1 at 3 AM. I did not answer, but it woke me up and I was pissed since I had to get up in a few hours to get ready for work. Aren't there laws about calling between certain hours?

Hopefully, if enough of us do this, then these frickin' leaches will stop calling cell phones and end up a HUGE fine!

Rec. a call in the wee morning hours of 5:15 AM - not a good thing....didn't recognize the # - didn't answer.

I received a phone call at 2:15 am on 8/1 saying that my BOA card was reported stolen, and to press 1 , after I pressed 1 I heard a female voice say hello, so I hung up.  If this was a business call why would someone say hello???/

Two days in a row I've received calls from this number to my cell phone.  I didn't know who it was so I let it go to voice mail - even the call that came in at 3:30am this morning.  They did not leave a voice mail.  When I Googled the number this site came up at the top of the list.

Got a call from this number at 1:46am. I called back during my lunch break. "Number had been disconnected or is no longer in service"

Rec'd call from same on 7/31/11.  Said it was Bank of America re: diabled Debit Card and to push 2 for Security.  I, too, hung up.

3 am call...I accidentally hung up on it, so I do not know who it was calling. I do know, I was NOT HAPPY! Calling back to it, got a disconnect message.

Called me at 4:20 am.  Said that my BOA Debt card had been compromised.  I hung up on them.  I am in the 214 area code.  The number was 973 470 5700.  As this post recommended, I filed a complaint with the FTC.

I got a call this morning on my cell phone from 973 470-5700 this morning at 5:30 AM. Caller ID said New Jersey and since I have many relatives in that state I answered. Got the Chase recording and new instantly it was not legit because of the time. My cell is 972 but my area of residence is 214.

I got a call on my cell phone at midnight from 970-470-5700 - left no message.  2nd time they've called my cell phone.

12:00 a.m. - Bank of America Card has been stolen - please key in card number -
Dial the number back and you get disconnected.  I reported to Bank of America for my State.

11:00PM. Didn't answer.  I live in 972 area code.

Got a call from (9734705700) at 5:19am and missed the call, and left no message. I thought solicitors were only suppose to call during business hours. Guess scammers aren't held by the same rules? Who can I contact?

Received a call to my cell phone from this number at 2:30 AM local time.  Bad enough to get a call in the daytime, but in the middle of the night??

Received a call from this number at 3:30am said it was from Bank of America and that my debit card had been locked out., They wanted me to enter my 16 digit number which I did not as my cell phone is not attached to my account at all. I called BoFA and reported it and was told that my card was ok. I hate scammers.

the computer generated call came at 2:49a.m. Great. Computer said my BofA debit card had been lost. Really? !. don't have a BofA account 2. I'd report it lost myself  I was told to press a # to recieve help. Yeah, NO!

Just received call, from 973-470-5700 said BOA debit card was locked. Press 1 to reactivate.

Just got this call too and thank God for google I found this forum. It seems to be happening a lot, whoever it is needs to get busted

anything.  Obviously a scam of some sort. I hung up immediately.

Advise them to call a dimocrat, they will have better luck!

Received a call saying my BOA Debit card had been stolen.  It is right here in my wallet.  I hung up and will contact BOA.  Someone is trying to steal my card information.

I got a call from this number today claiming they were the Bank of America security department and that my card had been locked because of fraud. Then they asked me to key in my card number. But wait! I don't even have a BA card! Scammers!

Now the numbers is calling (214) numbers. (I don't even bank with BoA or have a MC CC).

Received a call from this number on my cell phone (281) Area code that is not listed or known but by a few close friends and relatives- seldom any stray calls.  Said that my BOA debit card was locked and to hit 1 - I just hung up.  I don't have a BOA card of any kind.  Thought this was a Phishing call that needs investigation.

Keep getting calls from this number, saying they are from Bank Of American and my debit card has been lost.

Automated phone call asking for my Bank of America card number.  It was cancelled and needed to be reactivated.

since my cell number is posted due to my work, i have gotten numeras calls all day from differnt numbers with the same recording 701-509-8703, 973-448-2000. (Bank of America debit card deactivated) i sent these numbers over to a friend of mine with the phone company and they are not legit numbers, so dont waste your time calling them. you can report it but it will not go anywhere due to they are not legit numbers and have not been issued out, they are made up numbers and he is going to trace my cell to see where they came from. will take some time but more then likely they are not from the US. i could go on; on how they do it but it would take a lot typing.

Just received an unsolicited call on my cell phone from 573-470-5700.  It was an automated call allegedly from Bank of America saying my debit card had been compromised and to "Press 1 now" for help.  I do not have a debit card, of any type.  I have no account with Bank of America. Of course, I hung up.  SCREW THESE B*****DS!
