Another DoNotCall violation!!!!!!!

Just a follow up on my previous post:  Received yet another call at 9:05 AM, let it go to the answering machine and no message left.  This afternoon, I called them back and spoke with a woman who said her name was Samantha.  She said they have been trying to contact a particular company.  I told her that the company she was referring to had been out of business for at least 1.5 years as that is how long I have had my number and that it is now a residence.  She claimed she would put my number on their do not call list.

For all of you who are getting these unwanted calls at home, Google your phone number and see who else may have had your number in the past.  That is how I found out about the company they were trying to contact.

yeah they call my business several time a month, but go to my voice mail and said something about a google listing for my co.  Gosh, Google must be suffering for revenues to call me :(

Sales for website services. I called back, said I never requested their services (I have a CA number!) and they said I'd be placed on their do not call list. But not before informing me my number used to belong to a plumbing biz. ? who cares.

Nuisance call checking to see if the number is valid.  Why can't these a***oles be stopped?

This number calls our business, but there's no one there when we pick up. Just that fast beep-beep-beep. Annoying. Going on my ever-growing Ignore These Numbers list that's tacked up by the phone.

Caller Id showed New Jersey 973-494-8082. Answered call - immediately the call disconnected. They are robo calling to verify valid numbers.  

See above for who they are and why they are calling.  So wish we could play the same games with them.

Saw a post on another number suggesting we ALL keep calling these numbers. At least we will tie up the line so they cannot call others while we are calling them.

I have not seen this scam since the late 90's.

I keep getting these annoying calls from this number. Please put a stop to it.

Link Now Media is the caller.  They have called me 9 times since January 21, 2013 using 4 different numbers: 310-765-4037, 718-841-7863, 214-256-3068 and 973-494-8082.  Their website indicates they are based out of Montreal, Quebec.  Their calling practices would indicate they are not a reputable company and nothing more than a nuisance.

Called my office. No one on the other line.

Link Media. Trying to sell web sites.

Got a call from them today.  Asked for hubby, got hung up on. I called them back, said they where a web design service. Said I am on DNC, ...hung up on.  I called again, got a nice lady, explained to her that I was called, hung up on, I called back, was hung up on... I acted all sweet.  Told her my next call will be to the FCC if I am called again.  Wanted my phone number to take my # off their list... I mentioned that they already have it, since they called me than,...I hung up on her.

DNC is supposed to be automatic for Cell phones. They do not get the right to call you. Because you pay for usage, they can not call you unsoliceted. Of course, you can always add the number to the regular DNC list.

These jerks call me practically every day to hound me into using their web service I don't want. They won't take "no" for an answer. They also said that the Do Not Call Registry can't stop them. Lots of hang up calls as well.

Sorry dude, the DNC list does not include cells. You can put it in there all you want.

I get several calls every week from this number. I never pick up and they do not leave messages. I agree about the DO NOT CALL LIST, it's useless.

I got this one today also. I would like to know why Do Not Call doesn't do anything about these when you file complaints! What is the point of being on the Do Not Call registry if  they don't do anything about the constant offenders.
