I am from Brooklyn and New Jersey and she is not just abrasive - she's psychotic.  I hope no one gets dragged into her spiel - this profession should be regulated so that people like her don't waste other people's time and money.

We received a call from a woman at this phone number this morning and she asked for me (a doctor) by my first name, acting like we were old friends ... to get me on the phone.  I don't know who she is.
However in light of other comments, I don't think I need to take her call.

So bizarre.  Had a missed to call from this person today.  Thought it was a client of mine and she screamed 'Do you always call people back who don't leave a message?'. I said yes I do and she screamed and hung up the phone.  So weird.  I am also a psychic who she has obviously come across either on the web or radioshow.  Weird!

Very similar story to many of you above. I got a call today from this number (ID Jeffrey Quinto) with the woman identifying herself as Lucy Quinto.  I am in the healing/helping profession, so I was polite in listening to her give me her pitch about offering a free 20-minute reading to help grow her business.

I asked her who she targeted, and she mentioned women, who need help, she reads energy, etc. and works only over the phone. There was no way I would let someone read my energy without knowing who they were, without a referral.  Even though she wanted to sort of do referrals, she never asked me about what I do, etc. I asked her for her website, but she said she didn't have one, "did all of that years ago" and anyway the bulk of her business comes through referrals (so why is she cold calling?!). I remarked that I thought it was pretty ironic  -- as she said she found me though MY website -- and she mentioned something about learning alot about hypocrisy. The number she left for callback is 973-586-2128.

At first I found it all kind of hamhanded and amusing, but after Googling her and finding these and other negative references, I'm a bit weirded out by the whole interchange.  Certainly does not give valid intuitives/energy workers a good name...

I just got a call from Lucy Quinto on this number as well and I feel very uncomfortable with this person. Yes it does say she lives in New Jersey..on the look up number and her full name is correct. I ask her where she got my info and she said from a list..Not what list

She identifies herself as "Lucy Quinto" and offers a free psychic reading. Then she tells me my problem is that I'm "too polite" and don't I ever want to tell people to "Go F* themselves"?  When I disagreed with what she said she said she was going to go - I was too hard to work with. Hahahahah... So call this number for a free psychic reading! Enjoy!

Very strange, I just got two calls from this person.  I am a psychic, medium myself and I as I went to grab the phone I heard "don't pick it up".  I'm so glad I listened.  It appears it rang a few times, then hung up, then the caller called back and did the same thing. If this is indeed a person claiming to give a reading, why is she calling other energy readers?  My guess would be to do some sort of psychic vampirism or dumping energy onto others.

She called me this morning. Said she found me on a holistic referral site. I am listed on several. I am a psychic/medium and animal communicator. She was very defensive. She said she was a natural born healer and psychic. Said she healed animals and woman only?? Why not men?? I mean, why not even gay men?? Isn't that odd in itself? Okay..I had a session with my own client in a few minutes. I told her I would call her back (also, wanted to have time to google her..glad I did!!).. number she gave me is disconnnected 973-586-4128. Number she called me from is 973-586-2969. All I can say is I picked up immediately inconsistencies in her energies. Hyper, aggressive, defensive, intrusive, misleading (hiding something in herself), loneliness, fear, paranoia, urgency, self-promoting (a true healer/psychic does not have to do this..) and more. Well, she is unwell, that I picked up and why would anyone want an unwell person working on them? Delusional or not?? She said she does not work by appointment?? Huh??? What healer or psychic does not work by appointement?? And does not have an email or website?? She offered me a 20 minute free session, when I called at precisely the time I said I would # she gave me was disconnected and I called the # she called me from it was busy. Now, you tell me she isn't a fraud?

yes that Lucy Crazy Quinto called me and dumped her s**t on me, she thinks I didn't know what she was about, I am so intuitive, and picked right up on her, and all she talked about was intuition
she is either bipolar, angry and emotional about something in her life, basically she is transferring and projecting negative  energies toward another.

Lucy Quinto us NOT a healer she is a fraud. She is a con. This is about money for her.

Hi Caterina, glad to read your post.  I too have been called by Lucy Quinto who told me I was a psychic and a medium and how would I like to work over the computer.  She told me she does energetic surgery and helps to eliminate blockages.  She told me she charges $285 for a 90 minute session and 2 follow-ups from 30-60 minutes.  I asked her if she had a website, of course not.  I asked her if she taped the recorded the sessions and then sent the info, no she doesn't work like that.  I asked her if she had any information about herself and she didn't.  She had a very caustic approach that was unappealing to me, along with the fact that you are supposed to be working this intense work with her and she doesn't even record for you so you can then listen and work further with the session.  I asked her how she got my phone number and she said from the internet, I said from where on the internet because it would help me to know how she does her marketing (for my own business) and she said it didn't matter because I was doing the wrong work anyway.  She ended by saying she liked me, this was how she worked and three sessions could really help me and I had her number so I should call her.  I found her style confusing and not very healing.

By the way, Caterina, I just lost my animal communicator and was wondering if we might connect for that.  Maybe that was the whole purpose in Lucy Quinto calling me.

Lucy Quinto tried to call me - again!!!  This time I told her that she tried before - started off positive, then became very insulting!  I told her I googled her - she hung up.  Lucy Quinto is very mentally ill!  Please do not fall into her pathology!  Please!

I just got a very similar call from Lucy Quinto from this number. She said she got my name on the internet, on a holistic site (I am an Astrologer & Tarot reader and am listed on a few), but wouldn't specify which one. She started out being nice and saying how helpful Astrology was, then became quite overbearing and nasty, saying that I should "throw away" the Astrology and Tarot, that I don't need it. She said that I need to tell my clients should they disagree with me that I am right and they are wrong! She said she doesn't work with anyone who disagrees with her....seems to feel omnipotent. I told her I didn't agree with that and she said that was OK because she is right??!!! Anyway, my take is that she has mental health issues. I'm going to warn other practitioners I know to watch for her name on their caller ID, which said "Jeffrey Quinto", and had the same phone # you have here.

Lucy just called me!! I find this so interesting! Look at all of us discussing LUCY!! Something about her is working! Yes she gave me the same schpeel...and I could tell she is from NJ...have relatives from there! She said that I was "too much in my head" and then gave good advice about my work coming from the SOURCE. She did confirm a few things for me and did several energetic clearings while she spoke & I listened. She probably comes off as offensive to some, but she is from JERSEY! I don't think that she is doing anything to harm anyone. If you don't need her you just don't call her again. If she is a catalyst for us to find each other in the this small "healing world" then thanks of love & light go to Lucy! No one can offend you unless you allow it. I'm glad that I found this site.  Lucy called me yesterday and began by telling me that she works with energy healers and that she would give me a free 10-minute session.  I told her I appreciated her call, but I was not interested.  She proceeded to tell me things that I was currently thinking about with specific and accurate detail.  Okay, she has psychic abilities.  But then she started complaining about some of her clients, used inappropriate language, and became abrasive.  I should have hung up, but then she told me more specific information about myself, and I listened.  She said she did a healing on the phone with me.  At that point I got off the phone.  I couldn't quite figure out what she was doing.  BUT, last night I had great difficulty sleeping.  

I would suggest that you don't get involved with her.  She may be psychic, but she is not balanced.  I agree with some of the other comments I've read.  She uses her psychic abilities to hook one in.  (She got me.)  Also, she was completely dismissive of anyone writing books, using websites, really any kind of publicity.  When I asked her how she found me, she wouldn't say.  

BEWARE!   Apparently, she focuses on energy workers, therapists, healers of all sorts, and she says she gets her business from referrals only.

Just wanted to add another complaint to the list. "Lucy Quinto" just contacted me with the same story. I got a strange vibe from her and declined the reading... said I would call her back. My first instinct was to Google her..found two sites that are filled with these types of complaints about her. Apparently she is continuing to target female energy workers/holistic practitioners, and is using the 973-586-2128 number.

dang woman isn't too Psychic or she would remember she called me last year. Just got another call from her a minute ago and before she dumped her spill on me I told her I had looked her up on the Internet and that she is full of s=it.

Someone really needs to put a stop to her calling people. Here's the info I found on the number from caller ID. Maybe if we all start sending them mail and no return address they will get the message to leave people alone.

Lucy just called me.  To say the least she was highly unusual.  She told me that I am psychic.  I asked her how she knew this and she became evasive and defensive.  I was not as turned off as many of the people above.  Perhaps that's because I am not a professional psychic and don't feel that she is defaming my profession.
I am also a licensed social worker and worked with mentally ill people for over 30 years.  I would have to say that she is a lonely individual who is seeking out people to talk to.  I do not believe she is harmful unless someone buys into her schpiel whole heartedly and from what people above are saying, no one is.

I googled her while she was on the phone with me, saw the comments, and told her I had to get back to work.  I had no problem getting her to hang up.  I will certainly not call her back nor ever use her.

I want to thank everyone who wrote in.  BTW, she never told me why she is calling except to say she wanted to give me a free 10-minute consult.  She was not insulting.

I got a cold call from Lucy with the same talk but she was pretty nice.  She is from New Jersey so I think that comes off as more abrasive than it is.  She really shouldn't be making cold calls like that and wouldn't be clear about where she got my number but she wasn't off completely in her intuition.  I didn't feel offended by what she had to say but then again, my family is from the North East.  She is pretty straight forward but she seems like a hustler.  Hey, she does have some talent...if she softened up her edges she might be easier to handle but then again, she would not be her.  Sometimes you just have to take people with a grain of salt.

Wow, I am so glad I Googled her name... I have the same exact story as most of you. I got a call today from the 973-586-2128 number. We had a pleasant conversation  for a few minutes. I thought I would call her back. Yeah, thats not happening! I guess I am more amazed at the chutzpah she has to make all these phone calls...

Got a call today 12/28/10 - listened for 10 minutes and then googled and found this site.  I'm laughing about it because what she said to me was harmless, and she was perfectly pleasant.  I certainly don't want anyone to take her seriously and get hurt.  Thinking about letting others in my line of work know about her so they don't get taken in.  She said she found me from my business website.  Thanks for all of your posts.

I just received a call from this woman, today 12/2710.

She called me today and told me she had received my name from a free directory and offered me a free healing.  After a very awkward initial conversation where I was trying to determine how she had received my contact information and what her intention for calling me was- she hung up on me telling me she didn't have time for me to be unclear about what I wanted.

I later called her back, genuinely curious- it was a very interesting conversation- I too am very intuitive and I felt much of what she said is to some extent was in fact spot on- and I also felt wary of her at the same time.

She made a non-pushy offer for continued services after our session- I politely declined and then came here to the web to look up her name and found all of these responses.

Interesting is all I will say- I do think she made some very interesting points in our conversation and whatever her motivations were- I am glad for the experience and will also not be in contact with her again.

I got a call from Lucy Quinto yesterday (Dec. 16, 2010) so apparently she is still at it.  We actually had a very nice conversation but then again, I was curious about what she would say.  (When a caller from out of the blue says they are a "healer", it arouses my interest.)  I had not read these postings so I wasn't aware of previous negative interactions.  I believe she got my name and number from an Alternative Practitioner network I used to be a part of.  Much of what she said resonated with me and she actually offered some good business advice.  However, there is no way in hell I will pay her asking prices of $480 dollars for a reading - regardless of the two "complimentary" follow-ups.  All in all, I enjoyed talking to her but I can also see and believe that the experiences others had could be abrasive because I think she just really likes to tell people what to do.  If you listen to her, she's happy and polite.  If you don't listen to her, she gets abusive.  Weird, very weird.  Don't know if she really is psychic or not.  What I know for sure is that she is NOT a healer.  Healers are not in the business of telling someone else their truth.  Blessings

I just got a call from this number too, 973-586-2969, just today at 10:54 a.m. PST, Dec. 11, 2010.  Luckily, I don't answer calls from phone numbers I don't know and I figured if it's important, they will leave a message.  Lo and behold, I google this number and come to find about this "Lucy Quinto."  Thank you for all your post, it has helped me a lot and also to find the reason why this caller didn't leave a message.  There are a lot of phony, creeps out there!  Be careful everyone!

Told me she was a healer and then when I gave her feedback that her information was very inaccurate she told me I just wasn't listening and that I did not know the difference between pity and love. told her she had it all wrong

I got a call from 1-973-586-2629 this morning.  She asked if it was crystal healing and since my business is new and she did not ask for the company name, I said "no".  How lucky for me!  I tried unsuccessfully to call her back but then I thought I should check the number on reverse lookup.  When I found out it was in New Jersy, I wondered why someone in NJ would be calling the west coast of Canada for crystal healing.  When I googled the name that belonged to the phone number, I found this site.  Thank you for your reports because otherwise, I might have tried again to call this woman back.  Thanks again.

Lucy Quinto is a very dangerous and unethical person.  I went to her when I was in a very vulnerable emotional state.  I wanted someone to tell me how to solve my problems and she loves to do that.  Our first session was at her house.  The following sessions were over the phone.  I probably had 15 sessions with her.  At first they were helpful, I lost weight, focussed more on my finances, etc..  Then, it became a roller coaster.  She would announce in the middle of a sentence that she could no longer work with me.  She would scream at me and when I called her on it, deny it.  The absolutely worse thing she did was to tell me to stop taking medication immediately.  I told her that this could lead to seizures and possibly death.  (All of the FDA literature on this drug warns that it should never be stopped "cold turkey").  She told me that I would be fine and that she didn't trust my doctor.  Thank God I didn't take her advice and she fired me shortly thereafter.  She is seriously disturbed and a danger to her "clients".  I find it ironic that she is "cold calling" since she told me that she turned away 95 of her potential clients.  Please do not put yourself in the hands of this woman - she is dangerous.

Got the same call as everyone else, said she was a "Healer" and was offering free 15-minute sessions over the phone. When I asked what kind of healing modality she works with she told me it was "all natural." uh huh. I am a Reiki Master and intuitive working with people out of a Wellness Center in Austin, TX (Infinity) and this kind of hooey really charges me up : ) I appreciate all kinds of people, but clearly, Lucy gets angry and rude when asked any questions about her background. All healers, psychics, mediums, or whatever they refer to themselves as should have proper ID, websites and information for others to check out before revealing personal information to them and allowing them to work with their energy. It really gives the metaphysical and psychic community a bad name to hear about people like Lucy scamming the public. Do not listen to anyone who doesn't either come to you by referral or a legitimate source with some sort of information that provides you with knowledge about what they do! Lucy got mad when I scolded her for not having a site and for cold-calling people out of directories. She told me I was spiteful and hung up. It was very hurtful and mean to say such a thing, and I can only imagine the people she's bitching out daily and how it's affecting them. Sensitive people do not need to be bothered by fakes over the phone. PLEASE do not call Lucy or listen to anyone who calls you over the phone to solicit services. If you need healing, seek it out and look for valid and reputable people who do this kind of work. It does exist out there, just beware of Lucy and be very careful who you allow into your private matters!
