Hung up. Then my cell phone rang. Creepy, because it's a track phone and I never use my house number and cell number together. Same lady left a message looking for Sherri Curello. Still curious as to how this peron got a list with both numbers together. She also said something about him living on Pine Street. Sounded made up. Who would name a street Pine Street in GA? I'm so tired of looking at Pines I recently planted a Cedar.

If she calls again, tell her your recording her also and do just that. Meanwhile, be prepared to write and send a cease and desist letter and to send it. You can follow the steps in what you need to know.

Just got a call from this number. The lady said the call was being recorded and then ask to speak to me, with my first and last name. Then she said the call was regarding someone I'd never heard of. I told her I had never heard of that person and she repeated it back as if she was writing it down or something. Weird since the first words out of her mouth were that she was recording me.
I just hung up.

I got a call from the same number, and they were asking for my mom. I'm 14, learning and knowing about phone scams I never gave him any direct answers about her location, phone number, or workplace, instead I began to interrogate him. I asked him what he wants with her and how he knows her name. He said they were business partners, but I know my mother's only two business partners, and neither of them are names Joe Knox. I also asked if he knew so much about her why did he have to call me. He never really answered that. I began to stall on his questions and started to text my mother about this man. I was really nervous, too. I told him I didn't know who he was looking for. And he said yes I do, I've been talking to him like I'm trying to protect her. I then told him a few nice words and hung up on him. I then blocked his number using the very great iPhone feature.

By any chance did any one of you go to a particular school in Pasadena, CA?

Called and asked for me by name (odd, as it's the name only people who know me use), said they needed help getting in touch with a neighbor named "Orin Hughes" or something. Never heard of him. What's these peoples' game?

these dirt bags just called my phone and tried to get me to verify my personal  info such as DOB and SS# said it was about a personal business matter . When I refused to verify my info until I found out what business matter and who he was he refused and kept on trying to get me verify my info. He was rude and obnoxious. He was so pissed when i refused to verify that he hung up on me.2 can play that game.

Why are they calling my number looking for someone. I've heard the name before, but I really cannot help you. If this is legit, you would not call a supposedly neighbor(as they called me) in this area for someone else's phone number. Probably a debt & if I am not who you are looking for - call the right person.  I told them also, remove my number from their database. Then jumped on the Internet to see who the number was tied to and got this list of complaints. They are ot doing things legally.

It called me four times, and i don't know anyone in NJ.

They call incessantly looking for my ex-wife. I guess she owes a debt. I haven't been married to her since 1991 yet they are under some delusion that I will find her on their behalf and forward a message. They make up a new name each time they call.

PCR is a dept collector for the federal department of education. So if you have student loans that you are in default on more then likely they are who you are going to deal with. I know cause I am dealing with them right now... Uggggh

Just got called and male wanted me to verify personal info including SS #.  Requested his name and company before I would ever give out info. He would not give info. Hung up and then used block caller feature on iPhone!   Will not be hearing from them again.

They called today, Mr Dornan, and were asking about someone that lived "down the street" from me. I pressed hard for details and also spoke to and got angry with a supervisor who told me she would loose her job if she told me why (against federal law).  They are Pioneer Credit Recovery, a debt collector, calling to have me "get a message" to my neighbor! What a bunch of lowlifes!  I reported them to the Feds and to my state consumer complaint division

This number called & left a vm on my cell phone @ work. Stated their name was Judy Rodgers, for a Christopher Coalson. They've been told numberous times that this isn't his number & to stop calling!

Left a msg on my cellphone vm indicating the call regarded "(my husband's name)" and then gave a reference number to have when I call back.

Someone called asking for Yana Ross. The woman said it was a blah, blah Recovery company. Said she got the number from someone and they get numbers from several places. I told her to remove that number and don't call again.

They called me and left a message with a first name and reference number. I called back after hours to see if there was a company recording and the message only said that there was no available representative to take the call, to leave a message with name, number, and either reference number or a social security number. I've never had a real company ask for a SS# to be left in a message!

Called and told my wife they hadn't talked to me since august about a personal buisiness matter and wondered if she was a relative.  I don't know anyone in NJ nor do I have a biz matter with anyone in NJ.  Probably some kind of phishing scheme to get personal information.
