These people continue to call our company, every day, several times per day.  Every person they ask for is someone who does not work for our company.  I don't know where they are getting their information from but wherever they are getting it, it is not correct. When I tell them they don't work here they always come back with "he (or she) is in such and such department or he (or she) is the such and such manager".  No, they are not!  They don't work here! The people who are calling have very heavy foreign accents and they always get an attitude and are very rude; they even get to the point where they just hang up on us when we tell them the people they are asking for aren't employed with out company.  There has got to be a way to keep them from calling here.  These calls have gotten out of control and it's just ridiculous.

Receive multiple calls per day from this number, always from someone with a very heavy foreign accent.  Every time they call, they ask for a different person. Where they get the names from, I have no clue. They always ask for people who do not work within our company. I have two directories for searching ... one by first name, one by last name. I search both directories then they get an attitude with me when I tell them that there is no one in our company by the name they provided to me. They have the nerve to ask me to search a different directory! When I tell them that I searched both directories, first name then last name, they actually had the gall to ask me how I was spelling the name!!! I just about lost it. So, I proceed to spell the name for them.  The response?  "Oh, I see". (Wow, I guess I must have spelled it correctly, huh?) So I said, "I know how to spell". The response?  "Oh, I see, in that case I'll give a call back later".  Yeah, right ... do me a favor ... don't call back again ... EVER!

called several times at all hours and couple words and then hung up.   Very disturbing in the middle of the night or 5 am in morning.  tried to call no. back and it does not work.   Is there a way to block this caller on our end?

This number calls 5 times a day. If I pick up, no one is there.  If I don't it rings 3 times and ends.  I blocked the call so they call rings once and ends.  

I get repeated calls from this number.  If I answer it, there is no one at the other end.  If I call back, the number is "out of service".  I added it to my selective call rejection list so that my phone doesn't ring, but it still shows up in the caller id on my TV (I use Cox phone service).  
Typically, they call and when they get the message that calls from their number are not accepted, they call back two more times.  Then they try again in about twenty minutes.  I receive about twenty calls a day from this number.  Very annoying!!!!!

Called 8 times today. The caller id just says "NEWARK". When will the madness stop? The NSA can easily spy on anyone, but refuses to crack down on these criminals and claims they are "untraceable".  Just another example of our lazy and inefficient government.

973-710-1680 has called 4 times in the span of 4 hours! Left no message (I didn't pick up).This is ridiculous, I wish something could be done about it.

This number calls at least 2 times per day and has for the past 2 weeks. No one says anything but I can hear Spanish being spoken in the background...Will no longer ever pick up the calls from now on.

Have received calls in the past (2012) and a few this year. My phone shows that it is coming in Internationally and, likely, from India based upon callers' accent. What they were asking me for was IT related survey-type information on how/why/when my company (a large bank) outsources work. I declined to be interviewed. So, my guess is that we are all receiving these calls from a large offshore call center. I always get two calls - first one, no one responds when I say 'Hello, this is Antonio.' Then a 2nd follow-up call on which I am actually speaking with someone. I asked to be removed from the call list this time and the person said that they would remove my number. I could never understand on whose behalf they said they were calling but sounded like "D.S. Ender" or something. Never pushy, never tried to sell anything, offered me $50 to complete the survey...

Another service says this is a Voice Over IP phone number.  In other words, it's an Internet phone like the ones from Comcast or Vonage.  Cheap way to make a gazillion calls.

The caller called.  I said "hello" several times.  there was no answere, so I hung-up.  I called caller ID to get the caller's number, and perfromed a star 57 trace on the call.  I reproted the number to the Do Not Call registry.  My home phone number is on this registry.  This call makes the thrid breach of the Do Not Call resigtry which I have received, today!

Calls My Cell Phone Over several times a day! Needs to STOP!!

I work at a company that gets a call from this number at LEAST 4 times a day. It is nothing but dead air and we don't have the time to wait for a response or pick up a call with nothing but dead air. It's very frustrating and we need this to stop.

Got a call from this number today. After about 5 seconds of silence a man with a foreign accent came on the line with a request to speak to the "homeowner".
Told him there was nobody home and hung up.

Maybe if we write our Congress and Senate people continually about this issue they might think about it. If we just complain on sites like this they probably never hear about or don't want to hear them. I have filed complaints because I am on the National do not call registry and never hear of them doing anything. I have written my Congressman and Senator in reference to this and they just say if it comes up they will express my feelings. They can't even agree to pay the Countries debt so why would I believe they would ever bring this issue up. I put a block on my phone for these numbers but am only allowed 35. Some of these companies will keep using different numbers until they finally get around the call blocking. I was told that the Feds don't go after these companies rather the individual States are the ones who are suppose to go after them. I was also told that it is hard to track them down if so how is it that the TV stations can find them with little trouble. This is just another example of our inept Federal and State Governments.

Calls me multiple times a day at my business. Told them to stop calling, and they keep calling. When I answer, there is dead silence, and then a few seconds later there is a female voice saying "Goodbye". Called my phone company rep and told him I want to block this number, and he is working on it. Hope it works!

Me too... no longer in service. Called me multiple times yesterday. It is 10:30 AM and they have called my cell three times already this AM. What the heck do they think they are going to get by harrassing people? Do they want me to pay them to leave me alone? Why does the "no call list" no longer work... maybe because the government is doing NOTHING about ANYTHING.

I receive 3-5 calls a day from this number. First few I answered but no one on line and they just hang up when I answer.......Now when I see the caller ID I just let it ring and they hang up and call back in a couple hours. The number they are calling is my office Land-line and it call forwards the incomming 973 to my cell phone which has caller ID hooked to it. Each time my office forwards a call to my cell# it costs me money because my cell is a "local toll". I've complained to the At&T business office and told them if they don't trace these calls and shut them down I intend to get credit for all the wasted money this person is costing me. I intend to hold AT&T responsible just as if they are doing this on purpose to increase their phone sales revenues.

My small business is struggling to survive through the winter.  I receive 40 calls daily from this number and sometimes has a Bahrain id with it and others it says Newark, NJ.  Calling the number only gets a loud beep and message stating the number is not in service.  This has affected my business daily and drastically.  Please help!!

I have a rather lengthy recorded message which erks them to no end and they usually hang up, but sometimes I get a Real "Stupid" and will talk over the message till they finish. What I actually hear is maybe the last several words of a message that overlaps past the little whistle signalling to begin their recording and it sounds something like this: "...........if you have further questions please contact 973-710-1680,......Thankyou".  then ...click!
I also have one of those nasty little machines that eliminates the audible ring tone so once I get a few calls like above I just put them on the no ring list...........................AH!......peace in the valley! once again.

They constantly call me at least 8-10 times a day. Please help me stop this.

I HOPE THESE MORONS REALIZE THAT THEY CAN PUT WHAT EVER HANDY LITTLE GADGETS ON THEIR PHONE THE DON'T STOP THE GOVERNMENT BECAUSE WE CAN SPIE ON ANYONE AT ANY TIME AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO MOVE THEIR LOCATION AFTER EVERY CALL OR THEY MAY BE SHOCKED TO HEAR A KNOCK AT THEIR DOOR.

This number has been harrassing me too and I am also in the pest industry. They called me from 2 different numbers but mostly this one. they wouldn't leave a message but would hang up and call right back as if  they "knew" I was home 4 times back to back. The nervous sounding man with the indian accent told me he was from Olson Research Group in New Jersey and offered me $50 to do a survey. I believe this is a phishing scam and he verified that I was in the pest industry via the other phone number they use when I answered hello this is so and so from such and such pest control...and they are wanting further personal information about you to steel your identity. If you try to call this number back it will say not in service??? Be careful.

They call our office at least 10 times a day...first with a number, then IMMEDIATELY after as "Private Caller". Perhaps it's a pest control thing, as I have a pest control company in TX as well.
