Look up the FDCPA (federal) and your state's debt collection laws. I am not a lawyer, but the FDCPA lets you send them a letter to stop calling.

Pressler & Pressler have "tried and failed" to garnish my accounts because of an outdated debt that's 10 years old. I am a single mom and disabled. They are unable to garnish my accounts because the law protects disability funds, but they just keep on calling anyway. How can I get them to stop?

Pressler called 03/05/14 for John Winschell who shared my present land line with someone named Zack Stahlsmith years before we inherited their Verizon phone number.   Calls persist from a variety of creditors including Chase Bank because both these guys are deadbeats.

Karma is a bi*** and will get you!   How does the state of New Jersey Allow a lawyer of a collection agency to be appointed to the civil court for judgements under 15,000?  How in the world does he get away with this?  No wonder we don't have a chance in hell to fight this.  Most lawyers wont take your case because its a losing battle.  Everyone should send in a complaint to Governor Chris Christie's office to investagate this.  We the people of N.J. have a right to a fair justice system not a crooked one.  Lets all band together and bring these guys down!  The more complaints that go to Christie office the faster Christie will go after them.

They just called and asked me to verify my personal informations but refuse to give me any information regarding the nature of their call.  They just gave me the company's name. After googling, I found out that they are debt collector but I don't owe a cent to anybody! Sounds scary!!!

They call my cell then automatically call my home phone as soon as they hang up from calling my cell phone.  They r bottom feeders and have no lives and seriously need to find God in there lives and stop harassing people. They need to be stopped from their harassment games.

what if you are paying on another judgment from pressler and they apply money from that check to a new account they are suing for.  They did this to us.  going to court next week.  They made notes on the check to apply half to this new account they want to collect on.  Is this illegal?  Now it looks like we paid money on this account which they will argue means that we agreed to owing this account.

Called my cell phone but didn't leave a message.  I've seen this number listed as the same one on the Pressler & Pressler Law Firm,(known as debt collectors), of New Jersey but I have no business with them.  Mine is a prepaid cell phone so they could be calling anybody.

why is this person calling me from 9737535100. never received any thing from them but a lot of phone calls but will not say why.

Keep calling for no reason...wait until pick up then they disconnect.  I wish I could block these calls.

They do not stop even when they know we have no money and no work and money the bank, they want my blood they froze my account they even send detective to my home for a CC debt, I just can understand how the government leave this scam keep going on and on over citizens

Got a call at work and at home from P&P (caller ID) and they left no message.  Glad I googled the phone #.  We do have credit card debts but my husband was laid off and has been looking for job and our bank may foreclose on our house.  It's either pay the credit card companies or feed our family.  We're contemplating filing for bankruptcy in order to get some relief.  Good luck to all.
