Not sure who this is but they called my phone number 6 times. I did some research on the number and it appears it's some guy in NJ that posts craiglist adds looking for phone sex and also trying to get women over to clean his house in underwear. Creepy.

This guy calls at 5:00AM asking all sort of lame questions, on speaker phone, to rude to speak into the receiver.

This is one of the outgoing numbers that appears when you use Skype to make an outgoing call instead of your Skype-in number.  It appears if you don't have your own Skype In number and also if you have caller id turned off.  It has legitimate purposes for example if you want to protect your privacy when calling businesses such as when price shopping and not rely on blocking your number, which you can't always count on these days.

calling form skype as other has report so they can not be located, i work on a call center for a car rental company, this guys call every night and several times, in our case is just to ask for rates and them start to say stupid & nonsense things, it seems like they are 2 or 3 because while one is making the prank the others are laughing in the back... when they call they usually ask for service in Spanish, sometimes they make voices or so... now we know how to recognize them for there accent (sort of argentine accent and because they speak in spanish most of the times, as mention), and sometimes they call from different phone numbers all of them using skype

this person used my account to call any where in the world now i have to pay the calls this person made!!!

Sounded like a french speaking person from Quebec called and could not communicate not sure what she wanted, then called back and gave me her email to try to communicate better.. it was something like sf2010@gmail.com

Our company received a call from this number around midnight last night and left a very odd message.  No legit business with an US area code would be calling our company at midnight.  This has become obvious to me that this number is bogus and unwanted.

Jerk called the 800 number of the company I work for, pretending he is a Russian wanting to buy one of our products. THe giggles in the background gave him away.

These types of calls always come through to our company's inbound line and we can tell just by the way it sounds what type call this is (fraudulent)

Got a message fom this caller. sounds like he did not know what to say and was being recorded, ssounds like asian lady in the backround and telling "Jim" that she is going to Brians office to make a call and somone else was coming to pick her up, sounded like Jim had no idea what to say on message.

Just got a vile messsage from some calling from

This person calls our business from this and other numbers asking the same inappropriate questions. Mostly women work here and it makes us all uncomfortable. We've asked that the person stop calling. Now he calls from a different telephone number.

This person got ahold of my Debit card info and made frudulant purchases on the internet. The shipping address was in Orlando Fl. but phone number 973-855-3465 on the order came back to Newark NJ. Beware!

Received a Voicemail from this number.. just random sounds..

Thanks to everyone posting concerning this number.  My business phone shows a missed call from this number at 3:43/am CST - no message left.  It appears that whoever is calling and abusing peoples personal and business phones have decided to call at very early morning hours.  It's obviously intentional prank or not.  Number will now be blocked on my system.  Thanks again to everyone posting.

This number has called my company AuralSolve Inc. twice so far, once on October 1, 2011 at 11 am, and again on October 2, 2011 at 10:20 pm. Each time I picked up the telephone, there was complete silence and after a few seconds, I heard a busy signal.

I've tried numerous times to call 973-855-3465 myself, but each time I call the number, I also get a busy signal.

Clearly, whomever is calling from that number is indeed a scam artist, and I'm going to call my telephone company right now to have that number blocked and blacklisted.
