I get a call from this number every evening at about 8:30 - they always hang up.

I called the office of a Dr. Mirza in Clifton, and I was able to extract some info from the receptionist.  She said that he does in fact run an outside telemarketing company.  Here is his info:

I got a call today 12:55 pm from someone claiming to be from a Dr. Mirza's office in Clifton.  Asking me if I wanted to be part of a free medical study which includes a phyical, and exrays if needed. It is a prank call! Dont't agree on anything! And Don't give them any personal information especially what kind of insurance that you would be using if you were a patient of Dr. Mirza. I still can't figure out what they could do knowing what medical insurance I have.  If anyone has any ideas please share them? tintej654@yahoo.com

I never answer.  It's a pain the the butt.

THE NUMBER 973-860-0057 IS ALLEGIANCE TELECOM INC. THERE NUMBER IN SECAUCUS IS 201-770-0376, MAYBE IF WE CALL THEM AND COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS NUMBER THEY MIGHT DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM.

They call 2-3 times a day DAILY!  I think they've left silent messages on my machine, which I usually wind up deleting but I think I'm going to start saving the messages for evidence.  My caller ID also says Secaucus, NJ.  I think if enough of us complain about this number, there might be hope.  Although I haven't heard of whatever company their number maybe under, it just shows us the kinds of loopholes donotcall has...<sigh>

LOOKS LIKE 860-0000 TO 0099 IS ALL THAT ALLEGIANCE TELECOM.
WHO ITS IN THE NAME OF I DON'T KNOW

I've been getting calls from this number daily for almost 2 weeks now. They never leave a message and call at least once a day. I've never answered because I don't know who this is. Anyone have a guess???

I'M GETTING CALLS EVERYDAY SOMETIMES TWICE A DAY.

I CALLED THE PHONE COMPANY AND THEY REPORTED THEM TO THE FEDERATION OF SOMETHING OR ANOTHER.
I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL, AND THEY ARE STILL GETTING THROUGH

I get a call from this number frequently but I have never answered. When I tried to call this number back I got a message stating phone number is disconnected or no longer in service.  The number comes up on my caller ID only as Secaucus NJ

I got a call from this number today about ten minutes ago (about 10:15 am). Asked for me or my wife by our actual names, said they were calling from "Dr. Mirza's [sp?] office in Clifton [a nearby town]." I acknowledged that it was I, and they hung up.

I receive a call almost every day from this number; they never leave an answer.
