If you are getting too many of these calls, and hanging up doesn't work, then get connected to a "real" person and simply state: "You are going to jail, scammer", and hang up. It really rattles them, since after I did this, the repeated calls STOPPED.

Verizon Fios only lets you block 10 numbers but there are phones out there where you can block all of these spammers.

The DO NOT CALL registry is a joke.  Instead, call the FCC (after gov back to up & running) and talk to a live person.  Establish a case & then just add to it by bugging them.  Unfortunately, I have no confidence in any of these gov agencies.

I am afraid that this is a scam to give the caller control over my telephone line to make expensive international calls.

I've had half-a-dozen or so calls and they're really pissing me off.  I tried the "do not call" complaints site.  Of course, thanks to the Tea Party, the folks at the site are furloughed.  Wanna bet all the robo-callers are republicans?

Same as the other "if you are over 60" calls. Reported to the FCC, maybe someday they'll shut them down.

Do not call lists are useless.

It's a scam.  Where are the DNC people?

I have received a call everyday for a month and pressed 5 to be removed. Today I pressed 1 and told him this and he said he was putting it in the computer that I have a system. I hope this works. If not I will report be reporting them I can print out my phone log to prove the calls and have the persons name I spoke with.

They've been doing this a while now. Their company is called Elite Information Solutions, and they're based in Florida. They're no longer at 495 Semoran Blvd., that office was shut down.

Keep in mind, they are prepared to change phone numbers at the drop of a hat, so don't let on that you know what's up until you can get authorities involved. How do I know? I posted links to their ads when they were doing home energy scams. I am a former employee of 3 days who quit after realizing they are scammers.

holy christ, the number 973-922-3302 calls me every day at work bar none. I have 2 phone lines here and get calls on both lines. on a normal business day i get more fake/robo calls then legitimate calls. filthy christ enough is enough its time to act on this.

Caller I.D. only had phone number - no name.  Caller hung up when my answering machine went on.  Left no message.  My number is unlisted and I am on the "Do Not Call Register".

Robo calls get by the DO NOT CALL list as they present themselves as a NON Profit Organization,that does not have to adhere to the DO NOT CALL  list.. Do what I do.. Have a cordless  phone nearby.. When The phone rings,look at caller ID.. IF it aint a friend.. I let it ring twice ,hit the answer button, then the END button ..

973-922-3302 calls several times a day.  Caller ID shows "Nutley, NJ" and this number.  No one there although if you answer and stay on line it sounds like someone is opens a connection and hangs up.  Trying to call the number back you get a message "Your call can not be completed" - pretty good trick.

Then after most calls, 1-2 minutes later I get a call from 973-201-5018 and caller id says "Keansburg, NJ" and same thing happens.

It's 3 pm and they have already called 4 + 2 times today.  I expect the same tomorrow, and the next day, and the next, etc.

Blocking the numbers does nothing so maybe the displayed numbers are not correct.

Isn't there any way to stop this?

Caller i.d. shows "Unknown Name" 973-922-3302.  We didn't answer the call and they didn't leave a message.  This is not the first time we received this call.  We're on the do not call list and they continue to call.  So annoyed and tired of these Scam calls !!

I received a call from this number Thursday (8/29/13), Friday (8/30/13) and today (8/31/13) and all three times it comes in as UNKNOWN NAME.  I do not answer my phone to any number that comes in with UNKNOWN NAME or with NO NAME AT ALL. These people are ridiculous with these scams already. LEAVE US ALONE!!

Actually, it's COUPONS which they claim are worth $3,000.  Also, there is a monthly charge for the "free" medical alert item.

They keep calling me over and over and over.  I told them I'm not interested, but they keep calling anyway.  Tonight, I pushed #1 to speak to a human being so I could ask for a supervisor and tell him or her to stop these annoying and useless calls which continue to waste my time.  After I pushed #1, I just heard clicks and then silence.

Similar to other recent calls for free Medical Alert alarms, but this robo call has a new twist. The first few words of the recording were cut off, but it opens with something about a medic alarm bracelet or necklace and an offer for $3,000 in free grocery coupons. Of course they ignore the Federal Do Not Call list, which certainly tells you something about their business practices.
