I  just got a call from them too. I didn't answer cause I didn't recognize the area code. Thank God for Google and the ability to get the scoop on this.

This number calls our place of business frequently. If I answer they hang up on me, if it goes into voicemail, they do not leave a message...

I just got the very same thing and phone number today. I knew in a instant it was a fake and called my bank and gave them the info and phone number. I hope no one falls for this BS.

I too received a call from 975-000-1254 - today March 26th 2012 (just like Samuel Stair on 18 Jan 2012 (above posting).
I did not press 9 - I hung up - then searched the internet for this TN and found this site.

I put my TN on the national 'Do Not Call Registry' over 6 months ago. Afterwards I began receiving unwanted calls like no other time before. Unbelievable!

Same here, numerous calls, asked for a number to call back, hang up, tell them I'm on the do not call, hang up, I filed a complaint with donotcall.gov

call to my cell phone - I answered without thinking.  It was a recording saying that I will be or may have already received a letter in the mail saying my credit card rates are going up, and to press 9 to avoid this.  Of course, I didn't.  What a bunch of baloney

This guy sounded like Apu from the Simpsons. bored of the conversation, i asked if he could make me a squishy while we talked. he immediately hung up on me....LOL

975-000-1254 call in Michigan 3/15/12.  Didn't answer this.

I add these kinds of numbers to my blocked numbers with my cell phone carrier.  :)  At least they can't do it twice...

I didn't answer the call but my number is on the national do not call registry. Very annoying.

Go to this website to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (it takes just 30 seconds to fill out their form, you must have the telephone number that called you and the date and time that they called).  File a complaint everytime they call.

"Credit card managment" company = FRAUD!  Same as above, Eastern-Indian accent operator would not answer any questions until I told him how much I owed in credit cards total, (ALL of them) he kept saying.  I suggested this was a scam and he immediately hung up on me.

Get these calls everyday. Don't trust anyone with my credit. They need to stop calling. To lower my credit payments, right on.

Caller ID showed this # ,never answered it, keep calling back.

Receved call from this number.  'Credit card services'  wouldn't say who (Recording) wanted me to press 9.  I hung up.

975-000-1254 called my cell phone at 2:55 Eastern time. Did not leave a message and when you try to call the number back you get a automated response letting you know the number or code is incorrect check number or code and try again.

Received a call at 10:37 EST, did not answer it due to the strange number.

received a call today from this number, with a recorded message from "card member services" about my credit card rates going up.  at the end, it says to press 9 to talk to a person about your rates.  instead, i started pressing 0 and got connected to a person probably in India.  when asked if i wanted to lower my rates, i said "no i just want you to take my number off your list because you're a giant scam!" and he hung up on me.

I've been receiving these idiotic calls on a regular basis, not just from this number but from others as well. It's pretty obvious these low-lifes are spoofing the caller ID number. I decided to have a little fun at the expense of the supposed operator that you get connected to if you press "9". I had him on the line for about a half hour describing to him my credit card problems. In actuality, I have no credit card problems but he didn't know that. When he started asking for specifics about the credit cards I have I told him I was in the car and didn't have the cards with me. He asked what a good time would be for him to call me back when I had the specifics, I told him "about an hour before never". There was a short silence before he asked me again. This time my response was "when telemarkerters evolve into a life form higher than that of an organism that consists entirely of an a**hole.". He then hung up on me. I can't imagine why ;-)

I figure that if they can waste my time then I can waste theirs. The operator had a thick east indian accent that was almost unintelligable. I could hear many voices on other phone calls in the background indicating that this was a call center possibly located outside the USA. I hope there is a special place in hell for these rude morons.

I get repeated calls from this number with a message about lowering my credit card interest rates.  After pressing 9 to speak with a representative to ask to be removed from their call list, they proptly hang up on me

Get the same call same time every day for about a week...on my fax machine (has caller ID). Tried to call back but I think because of the "000" the call would not go through. I do not know what good the ?Do Not Call Registry" is, I was very optimistic years ago before they rolled it out. But if there are no consequences to a telemarketer?s action why would they stop harassing people. And how hard is it for a telemarketer to change the phone number after they get too many complaints, and they probably all change those numbers hundreds of times a year.

Just got a call from 975-000-1254 - Card member services today at 10:47 am.  Told to press 9 and did so I could tell them to remove me from their list but the line went dead after about 30 seconds of silence.  Tried to call back but got the same 'number can not be completed as dialed'.

I just received a phone call from these guys.  Same thing about lowering my credit card fees.  I stayed on the line to speak to an "operator".  He said "Do you want to lower your credit card interest?"
