Jason, it is. The very best way to handle a company.. any company really, is to send them a written cease and desist letter in regards to calling you. Send it certified US mail (so they can't say they didn't get it) and make sure you keep a copy of it for your records as well. Its worth the time. And by law now, (new law went into effect the 16th of Oct 2013) they are not supposed to use dialers/robo calls without having your signature allowing them to do so..

Despite several respectful requests to this company asking to remove my telephone number from their robocall list, the calls continue in greater frequency. Their pharmacists call and badger me and my family, asking us if we're taking our medication, how our refills are, etc. I have told them that if they are really that concerned, they need to contact my physician. The calls come in as early as 7 AM and as late as 10 PM. This is bordering on harassment.

Over the course of several years I have repeatedly called customer support and requested that I not receive notifications via automated telephone calls to my home. These calls are far too many. Most of the time they come at the most inconvenient times. I am of poor health. It is essential that I get proper rest. Many, many times I have been awoken by these phone calls. I know what you're thinking. A simple solution is to go to the Express Scripts website, access my account and set my preferences to be notified via email. What a wonderful idea! That makes so much sense. However, I have done that! Still, the phone calls continue.
In as much as setting my preferences at their website to receive notifications via email is useless and in as much as calling customer support to request, again and again, that I not receive notifications via automated telephone calls is of absolutely no use. I came up with a solution on my own. I obtained an additional telephone line that would be used exclusively to receive the automated notifications without an inconvenience and/or awakening me. Then, I changed the phone number at the website. Problem solved... not! I am still receiving notifications via automated telephone calls to my home. At the old phone number no less! What is the website for? I am totally confused! Is Express Scripts looking for a lawsuit?

Express Scripts have been calling my number monthly for several days for the last 17 months.Numerous calls to customer service (800-451-6245) and being assured the number is deleted from the system the calls keep happening asking for a family and or person who does not exist in the whole county.
No one at Express Scripts will remedy this and when you call and ask for a senior supervisor or executive you cannot speak to anyone other than the service rep who answered the phone.
This has turned into harrassment!

I've been harassed by Express Scripts ever since my husband's employer was STUPID enough to get involved with them. The robo-calls were coming as often as every other day. I tried just hanging up. I tried emailing them and telling them not to call me. I filed complaints with the consumer protection department in three states. They still wouldn't stop. One of their divisions, Cura Scripts, even tried to tell me that if I didn't start ordering my meds through them, my insurance would no longer pay for it!
It got to the point that I thought my head was going to explode every time I saw their number on the Caller ID or answered the phone to hear the noxious voice of their robo-caller. I finally began calling their corporate headquarters ever time I got a call and DEMANDED that they stop calling. Every time I called, I was assured that a rush order was being put in to take my number out of their calling list. And two days later, I'd get another call.
I finally just began blocking the numbers as I received calls. The number that called me most frequently was 978-867-9754.
Your phone company may allow you to block annoyance calls, too. Try dialing *60 at the dial tone, and see if you get instructions on how to turn on call blocking and how to block these calls.

Just called 1-800-451-6245 and she removed me in the system, but did tell me that if that didn't work, to call back and there was a form she could fill out to make it happen. Good luck!

Have been fighting to have my number removed for almost two years, no luck yet, have also made reports to national "do not call list", but no one seems to want to do anything. Have contacted Express Scripts after every call and they assured me I was removed for their automated calling system, yet the calls kept on. It seems they don't care, I wish I could do business with someone else but this is the company plan.

I have called Express Scripts a dozen or more times since the Fall of 2009 trying to get my number removed from their automated calling list. I have been told it has been removed and even got a call from their Tech Department ensuring me that my number has been removed from their system. I am not nor have I ever been a client of Express Scripts. I continue to receiving unwanted automatic calls advising me of their receipt of my order, shipping status of the order, etc.
| greg 2009-10-08 19:20:29 Unknown |
yes, this is the automated call from express scripts telling you that your meds have been shipped. They are calling my number becuase it is the number that I set up in my profile. If someone mistaking put your number in thier profile, I'm not sure that express scripts would be able to correct that.

We repeatedly get calls from this number, as well as 7570, 7571, 7573, and 978-712-3901. Yes, Express Scripts is a legitimate company. I like their services, but that is not the issue. It's whether or not you want to be notified by phone or e-mail. I used to get e-mail notifications, and that is what I want. I NEVER indicated that I wanted to get phone calls. I have repeatedly requested that all messages be sent by e-mail. I've spoken most recently to a supervisor and a tech. rep. All my records - theirs and mine online - show that I want e-mail notices. But the phone calls DON'T STOP! They are VERY annoying to us. They come from a call center in Beverly MA which I can't seem to locate. Any ideas?

The number belongs to a legitimate company called Express Scripts. They fill prescription drug requests. They use recorded messages from this number to confirm shipment of medication.

We received two calls in the past week. This is legitimate; we have ordered 90-day supplies of pills; Express Scripts calls us once to acknowledge receipt of our order, and again to say it is filling the prescription. For us, this is helpful feedback; we are able anticipate more closely when to receive the prescriptions in the mail.

unwanted call.

This # belongs to an express RX drug medication shipping company. I used them to get 90 day refills.

They seem a bit understaffed (on hold for a few minutes, lot of automated stuff) and told me automated calls are something YOU can turn on or off if you have a profile on their website http://express-scripts.com/ which is a helpful thing to do since checking on your order is faster on the website than the hold time. They do use some kind of super-economy mail service that took at least 4-5 days to ship from PA to MA which is usually 2

It is your pharmacy calling to let you know that your pills have been shipped.
