There was a guy and asked for a fax number claiming to send a refferal. I gave him the fax number but nothing came out. He also asked me to confirm the physical address. Reading these messages made me think that the call has a problem.

We received 2 phone calls yesterday asking my my mother and I know they are scam calls so I am very careful of these numbers I have been reporting all the strange numbers to the Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-382-4357. We are on the Do not call list but some of these hard to understand India and etc. people keep on calling Please keep reporting all these numbers u get. If we would all stand firm and turn these numbers in maybe they can close down their operation. These calls bother us and they usually call like during meals or when u are busy and I do not want any of us to get scammed. Thank u.

We received a call from this number 2 times yesterday asking for my mother by name and we have no idea who this is but a scam call like the people above are having trouble with so glad to know they are doing this to everyone not just us. I am going to report the number to the Federal Trade Commission, so please keep reporting theses numbers so they will or can catch them and close the operation down. Thank u. I just received a call from this number and it said it was from Fairfield Auto Mall Ford Dealership reminding me of some kind of Community Sales Event that's going on through this Saturday.  The guy who left this message on my answering machine said his name was Brian and said that I am chosen as a semi-finalist for the grand prize and if I'd like more information to give him a call at:  978-279-9542.

I know this is a scam because I don't even live in the State where these 2 numbers originate from and so I will not be calling back the number they gave.

Keeps calling and hanging up.

A call center that handles hundreds of companies, some "you" may have dealt with, in the past.
They are a message (live and recorded) broadcast center.
Messages usually pertain to a product or company, that "you" had purchased, previously.
Sound legit- but they generate more sales for the product you may have purchased or used.

Claimed to be Precision Painting returning my call/inquiry. This was not true.  They called several times but I had never contacted them requesting information.

Looks like this number is whored out to anyone who will pay.  Got the call today - did not answer.  

Have blocked the ENTIRE 978 AREA CODE so that our office will not be disturbed.

Got a call tonight and answered it. The man claimed I called today looking for a painting or remodel quote from my cell.  This is not true.  Never called the number and I live in a different state than the caller.  I think he was cold calling.

They leave massage, but they told me I should call them again to another number begins with 8. They said my name and that I want assistance with my Ventra account. It's my train card.

The number is an inbound out bound call center number its a can be used by any call center that payes the phone company a yearly fee for the number it can be used for any call center in the us. if you think about it a call center recives contracts big companies or transit programs to do there customer service calls such as like the charlie card,and the t in Massachusetts. Like right now its being used. for onbrand 24 as an o/i line for ventra card holders in chicago it is a Massachusetts number because the call centers maine office is located in Beverly. Massachusetts

Months now getting a call  they just do not get it I do not ans.any call I do not know who is calling and I say so on my voicemail.

I wish the USA goverment would stop this type of calling and make it a federal jail time - wish they had the -----
to leave a message or take incoming calls.

It is time for us to make it not a jail time with the keys tossed for ever !!!!!

I got a ticket for going through a red light- busted by a camera.  I consequently lost the citation.  Not wanting to have a legal problem and lose my drivers license, I called View Citation at 866-483-4999 to see about getting the details of citation number and pin.  They called back today from the 978-236-7850 number with the details.

This number comes up as Beverly, MA.  A woman left a message saying her name was Maggie Byer and that she was calling about a case I filed here in Ohio (I am an attorney).  I returned her call and left a message, and she doesn't call back.  I have no idea what the call could be about and she leaves no info in her messages other than her name and the name of my case.

This call was blocked by our Digitone call blocker. (We block every area code except the four local ones.) We didn't answer it; it was blocked. Someone out of town who wants to talk to us would call back (happens a few times a year), so this works great. The Digitone blocks them also. About the only ones that are blocked and shouldn't be are people who, for some unknown reason, block their home phone number. We have been on state and federal do-not-call lists for years? and reregister regularly, so nearly any call that is blocked is a scam. If a legitimate business calls again after being asked to stop they are subject to a fine of $16,000.00

Received a message from Deanna Gregory calling on behalf of vistaprint. Wanted to let me know that I am now part of vistaprints special program to receive free 7-day shipping on all orders for the rest of the year.

Caller ID: ONERAND24  978-236-7850  on May 23, 2013.  Caller claimed to be Reliant Health Care representative.  She wanted to know if I've been informed that Reliant Heath Care will NOT be accepting my present Fallon Health Plan insurance in 2014.  To keep my doctors of Reliant, I need to switch to Tuft's.
When I told her that I know all of that already.  She wanted to know of my decision now.  I told her I can't do that until I know ALL of the information I need, which will not be available until October 15, 2013 or later.  Then she wanted me to make phone calls to who I don't know.   I replied with NO!  And hung up the phone.

Got a vm from this number saying it was Joanne from Shawmut, returned it and it goes to her vm.

Indeed these are telemarketers hired by different companies.  10+ years ago we sold business forms from a division of Deluxe.  Someone from this number left a message last week saying they wanted to re-engage us.  I didn't call back because...we're not interested in being re-engaged.

Call came in again today and I let the caller have it.  If I was interested, I would have called you back.  BEE-YOTCH

TELEMARKETING:  I think this is a company that is hired to do telemarketing by mutliple companies, not one type of business in particular. I rec'd a call from them calling themselves SS Group. Stating that they appreciate our past business of Christmas Card order. (probably true, we were a reseller).

Unsolicited call from Boston company attempting to get people interested in a research study.  Stated will call back when told not a good time to call.  No answer when number called - busy signal everytime!
