I've received many calls, they hang up, and no voicemail left. Same number as all of you.

This number and id come up every few days, today it has called three times. After answering there is momentary silence then it hangs up.

sounds about right - so i just set up a special nuisance call contact with this number and let it go direct to voicemail without ringing. do not pass go, do not collect 200 rupees.

Previously called me from (704) 243-5004 and it was a "professional" free magazine subscription renewal.  I was driving and they promised to call back.  They did, but on this number.  This is a high quality VOIP call as it takes several seconds for the very nice people on the other end to respond.  What they don't know is that when they did the automated multiple call trick and I answered a dead line, I added all their numbers a Blocked call list, permanently.  I will not tolerate the rudeness of wasting my time or keeping a paying client from reaching me.

I have been getting the same calls from these people. If you don't except a magazine or service from them the first time don't worry you'll be getting a call again. I think once they get your number it never stops. This has been going on with me for years. I have changed numbers and phone services and somehow these people keep getting my number. I remember going thru this with so many different things like, magazines and places where you a company sends you new merchandise to try and they want you to tell them your experience with the item all for just a small price of $1.95,etc. I have turned the number into the FTC about this but it has not done any good. I have turned this over to all I know to and they still get my number.

I just got a scam call from this number.  I should write my congressman,  who is probably getting kick-backs (excuse me,  campaign contributions) to allow this to happen

Same as others.. phone call received from 1-978-485-0533.  Pick up and caller hangs up.  Immediate redial is met with recorded voice, "I'm sorry but this phone number is no longer in service."  

What a bizarre society that this form of marketing communication exists and seems to flourish.  If there's a way to expose the identity of these callers and then boycott their businesses, I am all for it!  

There's a real cost to allowing such breaks in activities beyond just an annoyance... is there class action potential ??

Received numerous calls from (978)-485-0533, caller ID says Salem,MA no one speaks and hangs up after 2-3 seconds! When called back a recorded male voice no accent states, Sorry you have reached a non working 800 number and repeats over and over!  Very suspicious and seems like they are borderline committing Aggravated Harassment the Misdemeanor crime!

Called early Saturday afternoon.  I didn't ans. Phone but i called number back.  Recording, male voice, I reached non working toll free number.  Promotion is what was on my caller I'd.

Called, no message.  Called back, no answer.

Called anwsered and the hang up. Re-dial and it says out of service. Something not right with this.

They call about4-5 times a day and nobody ever answerswhen you pick up the phone.  They are driving me crazy

They just called and I didn't pick up. No message left, but it's good that I read all that, so I won't pick up.

They just called again.  This time there was someone on the line and it was a professional magazine renewal service for one of the half dozen technical magazines we subscribe to.  Apparently their auto dialer calls several numbers and then one of their available reps takes one of the available call.  If there are no reps available when your phone rings, you get the situations described above.  Mystery solved!

They call our office but never say anything or leave a message.

Just got a call from this # as well and they hung up once I answered the phone... (Called me at work, nonetheless)

They called me this morning at 4:37A and hung up as soon as I answered!!! Caller ID just said Salem MA

Our cats-only vet practice keeps getting calls that immediately hang up when I answer.  I was starting to wonder if I needed a breath mint before I searched it and found all the reports of the same behavior.  ;)

got a call today, missed it. called back but no one answered.

Called today when I was in bed,phone rang over 20 times,I got up to check thinking it'd be an emergency... it was Contact Center. ._. This isn't the first time they've called.

Got a call everyday from this number. Nobody answer

Me too ..just got a call not 10 minutes ago. When I picked up they hung up. Caller ID read : 978-485-0533.  Name was  "Contact Center" ??

It's a good thing sites like this to allow searching on phone numbers. To bad they don't do it in real-time with a Mapping application showing where calls are going. It might help.

They left a message this time to have me call back to (650) 633-6646 claiming to be Oracle.

If you run that number there is a bunch of complaints that they are phishing for info

I am in Saskatchewan, Canada.  This number called this a.m., when picked up no one there.
