Identified as VFW "at the statehouse" I said not interested, and hungup before they could speak anymore.........I'm so rude.....

They called my old phone number from 2004-05 tonight looking for me. My old roommate still has the same phone number. She texted me that a guy called for me and would not leave a message, and she gave me that number.

I haven't picked up the call; I have caller I.D.  My I.D. says "Manchester, MA".  I am listed on the National Do Not Call Registry.

Received three calls in three days from this number while I was out of town, left hang-up messages.  Plan to call them Monday and give them an earful.

Called saying from vfw in state house.Asking for money told them i was busy. I am on DO NOT CALL list

Got calls from this number twice with voicemail that sounds like an engine running.

Keep in mind that there are a long list of exceptions to the do not call list - charitable orgs are one of them.

They keep calling; but, when you call the number it says it is not in service.  I now have the number blocked.

Someone left a message with no one talking. Sounded like cars driving by or like someone else on this site mentioned, like an engine running in the background.

Picked up the phone, said it was a VFW collecting to service vets. Told him if he sent me something in the mail I'd make a donation. Turned me over to his manager to confirm. Manager kept insisting that I give him a cc #.

Reverse lookup found Manchester, MA and unpublished.

Tried to call back to identify and got a recording expressing "technical difficulties" and to call back in 48 hours!

They have called in phases- they'll call 2 or 3 times a day for a week then not for another month.  No message.

978-525-0031 is for the Veteran's of Foreign Wars of the State of Massachusetts.  I was geting a few calls a day from this number, but there was usually no one on the other line.  So, I called the 978 number and got a recording directing me to call their Customer Service Center at 800-785-4595 for futher information.  I called the 800 number and a recording gave me a list of departments to choose from, the last being a prompt to be added to their "free" "do not call" list.  The recording stated that in order to be placed on their free do not call list, you must be a residential telephone subscriber and your caller ID cannot be blocked or private.

Keeps calling and doesn't leave a message.

This is the massachusetts veterans of foreign wars. They are soliciting money for programs they sponser.

Got several calls from this number. Didn't recognize the local number, so didn't answer the phone.  Now I certainly won't answer.  Thanks for this site.

called my cell phone. i looked it up and a lot of people said it was piza hut.  just a way to use your minutes up.  if they call again i will notify do not call list.

Call from this number.  They did not leave a message.  I called back and got a message that it was the veterans of foreign wars.  Something about important informatin.

This number calls me every day, even on Sunday nights.  Tried calling back and got a recorded message from the VFW which then also gave a number to reach them at: 1 800 785 4595.

Called and claimed to be from VFW looking for donations, new my name, my phone number is unpublished and only had this number for 6 weeks. I think I was scammed by submitting my resume for a job on Craigslist. Tis is the only way they could have knowledge of my name and phone number.

This number calls my house randomly never leaving a message. When I answer they hang up within a few moments.very annoying! I have tried to call back and the num is disconnected- 411 has no listing .

woman cals and asks if my boyfriend is available i say no she then says "is this his wife"? i8 say his girlfriend she says she was from some veteran thing in boston wanting a donation because he had donated before, i said no and can you take me off your calling list? she then says "these people fight for your country and you dont wanna donnate? they need your help" she says ... i then say we need help too but im not calling you for it, so if you could please stop calling. she then says well  your boyfriend donnates all the time.... i ask him he says nooooo what r u talking about??? so i asked once again stop calling me and she rudely hangs up... hahahaha  i soulda gave her my bank account number right? what a joke

This guy or guys must have a poor sorry life to be this busy calling peoiple and harrassing them. Come on or he could be a pedophile trying to find the right home with kids and no parent. How do we find out who is using a number that is not in service????

The person asked for Chris and then said it was the VFW calling and there was laughing in the background.

calls daily, i answered today and noone said anything, i hung up. im getting sick of it

Called for me and my husband answered.  When he asked who it was they hung up on him.  He tried calling back and the recording said the number was disconnected.
