Called (206) 792-9399 and blasted off the young woman there she claims they cannot give me the contact information for the company that is dialing my number but, I can file a complaint with them and they will forward it to the client so no more calls are made. I spent 10 minutes going around in circles trying to get anything even a name from the company actually contacting me and was refused on all occasions , I was then transferred to a manager named Hugo who claims I must send a formal subpena to them to get any information regarding any specifics for this company. The good news here is we as  consumers now have a new chew toy to rip apart on the phone. Illegal robo call to my DNC listed residential phone. Scum and scam.

More pre-recorded messages from google about an immediate opportunity to run ads in our area. We keep blocking their calls, then they switch #'s and start again.

I have no idea who keeps calling my cell phone and I wish they would stop.  I have my cell phone number listed in the DO NOT CALL registry, but obviously it is not working!

Woke me up....then hung up abruptly when I answered. Give me a break....How would these idiots like someone returning them the favor.

My husband got a call from this number while he was at work - he was PISSED cause we are both on the DNC list as well. We live in NH, where the elections are a HUGE deal here - quite frankly I just wish these reporters would go away already cause you cant step out of your house, go to a local baseball game or to your favorite breakfast place, let alone try to get a hotel reservation, cause these people are seemingly everywhere! I KNOW they have jobs to do and they're not to blame so I'm not putting them down, just this whole so-called "First in the Nation" press coverage frenzy - ugh! Needless to say, we get tons of these calls during this  contentious time and this particular number was a recorded announcement that invited us to the grand opening of a "Citizens United for American Business and Prosperity in New Hampshire" group...Sounds like a PAC meeting/ rally headquarters that was opening in a nearby town.

I got a pre recorded message from this company (and from the President!) saying I could have assistance if I was behind on my mortgage. I pressed 1 to continue and reached a real person rather quickly. I had enough time on hold to research the number and find out they are in Massachusettes. I said "Oh hey, you guys are in Mass? I can be there in an hour." and she hung up on me. What if I wanted to resolve my mortage woes in person?
I called back but I got a recorded message saying the number was not in service.

Got a call and they wanted me to update my Google account. I hung up on the stupid sum beach!

They call me all the time... mostly just to hang up.  I am on the "do not call" list for telemarketers.  Sometimes they as for someone that doesnt even own our number.

I started may sex noises....and they liked it..........LOsers from small towns ...stop call New jersey and us new Yorkers....get a life...o sorry theres never anything to do in the pumpkin patches out there lol..........

I got a call from that number today and thought it was a legit call>  Obama Help. What do I do now? The rep SAID he would help me get a lower rate or principal balance.

I am sorry to burst the "Obama Haters" bubble, but this IS NOT a political message.  It is a scam to try to collect money from you to modify your mortgage.  They use his name to try to convince you that it is a good program for you.  And it may be, but you do not have to pay someone to get it done.

It is very similar to anyone trying to get you to pay money up front for a service that you can obtain without that.  Sort of like the real estate market before the bust where everybody and his brother tried to get you to refinance your mortgage.  All you had to do was to give them a couple of grand up front and some information over the phone.

These people always use someone's name to try to get your attention and to make it sound legal.  Would one of the previous posters who wrote, "Where is Rush....when you need him?",  be more likely to buy this BS.

Plain and simple, these people are scam artists and will do and say whatever is necessary to make a buck.  

Wake up and "smell" reality.

What we need is for the Government to fix all the Loopholes in the Do Not Call List.  When the federal "do not call" list law passed in 2003 there were many ?loopholes? allowing telemarketers who had a "PREVIOUS BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP" to contact you.  Also every time you sign up for contests and sweepstakes (read the fine print) you waive your right to be on the DNC list for THEM and their AFFILIATES. Another ?foot in the door? for small telemarketing companies is to pretend to be a survey company but really just want to sell you something.  And while they are working on getting the loopholes out of the DNC list they should create a similar DNC list for "Political" and "Non-profit" organization solicitations.  However, since Government and Political are synonymous, we may remain disgruntled for some time to come. :-/
P.S. My next phone will be one of the new phones that create its own DNC list with the push of a button and allow you to block unwanted numbers yourself.

I guess reporting them doesn't do any good are they would not still be calling.Who else can we complain too? This program isn't doing any thing. Who would do business with ANYBODY that is rude, does not give you who they are working for, gives you a fake number, calls you even though you are on the do not call

Why get mad when they call waste there time they are getting commission not hourly pay so have some fun with it make them think you are interested tell them you where waiting for their call, When they ask for the ?OWNER? tell them that you are, Make an appointment tell them that you moved to a new city or country! Ask a lot of questions, Tell them you are getting your credit card and put them on hold!
WHY LET THEM GET TO YOU? DO NOT GIVE THEM THE SATISFACTION! Believe me they are not worth it!

called cell and mentioned my mortgage

This number call my cell phone (which is listed on National Do Not Call List) about mortgage program.  I pressed 2 to be removed but think their computer hung up before it took.

There is a new law with new procedures, maybe it doesn't apply to cell phones because it's better on home phone but worse on cell phone now. When I call back I got a message stating that is was a non-working phone number.

I am reporting this as a robo call on donotcall.gov

Please report this number 978-570-2241 as a nuisance caller.  Calls several times a day and never says anything.  Please report to law enforcement.

This number has been calling non stop tellin me i can have a free security system put in for free...Ive added my number to do not call list and then they start on my cell phone and i do the same to..after they everyt 5 minutes calls coming in between those to phones...Its ridiculous.  Then when waitied to speak to a live person  she let me talk not even a minute and hung up on me...such fun..:(

Why do we have a no call list?  Has it very worked ? I put my number on there so mean times.
