I keep getting calls from 978 570 2256 for months of free hbo.  Don't have tv so tried to get off their list.  If you don't answer, they just put you back in their queue and call again.  Twice I have spoken to a representative that have told me to (fill in the blank) when I told them to take me off their list.  Then they hung up on me.  Nice.  Thought this was illegal and if asked to be removed from a list it had to be done.  I know I have practices that I have to adhere to when I am calling...why do they get away with it?

These people will not stop calling! I have tried screaming into the phone, politely asking to be removed, and pressing 2 to be removed from the list.

This is a telemarketing SCAM for several phishing reasons: Reduced Interest Rate Credit Cards, SAT (Dish Network) TV and Extended Auto Warranty. They call from both coasts on numbers that are bogus. Some even show as local numbers from just plain folks who have no idea their numbers are being used by telemarketers. Be advised that even if you are on the National Do Not Call Registry, your number could be removed, without you knowing it, if you change features on your phone, if it gets temporarily disconnected, etc. You need to verify that your number is still on the list every now and then, especially since it takes 31 days to "appear" or "activate" Dish Network has an escalation specialist in Colorado Springs who says, if you receive ANY calls after the 31 day period, call them and they can set you up in their "Sting Program" which provides you with faux information to present to the company as if you are going to order the service, and then they can trace who they are and press charges.

I feel your pain comrades. This is a situation that has caused great frustration to me since they also call on my business lines and I am a florist who receives long distance calls for flower orders and must answer those calls. The list of "Bogus" numbers is so large, I simply can't try to look it up before answering while the phone rings and rings. It looks bad for business.

Im a sales engineer for a generator company. We have 4 lines into our office. At least 5 times a day we get a call from Dish Network (978-570-2247) offering us Satellite TV. This is a wast of time for me and my fellow workers. Its a joke in our office to start calling Dish network to see if they want to buy a generator from us. (I think I will do that) Lets see 15 sales men times 5 calls a day WOW thats 75 calls a day to dish to see if they want a generator. Maybe then they will stop wasting our time. I called the number back and it said if I wanted to be removed from the list then press one I did. If I get one more call from them then it plan B

This company keep calling, and when I decided to let them know that I do not want them to call my phone # any more and remove my number from their list, they hung up the phone. If any one knows how to report them and then stop calling, please let me know.

called..went to operator...told him dont call here anymore...he said no....said who are you...he said i work at as a sec. for a medical co... asks what number are you calling from...i said you called me you should know...he said to quit bothering me....i said you called me...he said you should just hang up...i said no you hang up and dont call me anymore
