The caller ID said 3 mon free HBO...I was tired of the calls so I picked up hoping they had a selection for "take me off this annoying call list" but Nope!...Instead it said press 1 to talk to someone now, so I thought erroneously that I could ask them to take me off the list. But a few moments after I pressed 1, I was disconnected...

they are a complete scam......

HOw can I get these people to stop calling me?  I consistently press whatever number they tell me to to remove my # and the next day the same company calls me.  Is there a lawyer out there willing to work a class action lawsuit on our behalf to make them stop?  I'd be willing to press such a lawsuit as I consider this harrassment and NOT good business practices.

Of course he got a ear full of my comments in return and I was not nice.  Maybe now they get my point.

These people call my house a number of times a day. I tell them everytime to stop calling me. I don't have any credit cards so it's not even like I am of any use to them. The last time they called I asked to speak to a supervisor and the woman told me that all of the supervisors were busy.. yea right. So I threatened to report them and she told me to go ahead and hung up on me. I then called my telephone provider which happens to be my cable company. The man I spoke with advised me to go to WWW.DONOTCALL.GOV I went to this site and registered my number with the national do not call registry. It can take up to 30 days for my number to be completely taken off of all lists. If I receive calls 31 days or after that there is a link where I can file a complaint as long as I have the date of the call and the number and/or the name of the company. I hope this works! I also hope this information is useful to somebody else with the same problem.

Just hung up on answer machine. I am being to wonder if TWC sold my information to others since I am receiving hang ups from numbers document as phishing or scam telephone number on this website.

Daily calls from 978-570-2260. Same hang ups when I ask them to stop calling. When I call the number it's a recording that does not say who they are just that they are purchase and call business listings only which my number is not.

I got a call from 702 520 1105 today, caller ID shows "Tuscany Industries" and the automatic voice says "Important details about your account" I press one because I want to report this.  When I asked who it was he said "Visa and Mastercard." I asked for his supervisor, he said "I am the supervisor." Yeah, right.  Supervisors make these calls?

A couple hours earlier I had gotten a call from 1-978-570-2260, showing as "Card Services" on caller ID.  SAME AUTOMATED VOICE saying "important details about your account" - I had pressed 1 then, too, asked the guy "What company is this" and he hung up.

I am going to report both numbers to the FTC.

I keep getting a phone call from this number as well. No matter how many times I ask them to call they continue to call. It is driving me insane. How or who can we contact to get this to stop?

I get calls from this low-life company every day. The reason I say 'low-life' is they seem to love to abruptly hang up on you once they realize you will not be a customer.  I get message every day for this company so I finally answered a call and kindly let the gentleman ask me a few questions to see if I qualify for a lower interest rate on my credit cards. They said I can possibly get 6.9% APR. The call seemed to be international, based on that 'delay' you get that causes you to over-talk each other, and he had a thick accent. The man asked if my cards are currently below 10% apr, I said yes.  He then said 'you do not qualify" and abruptly hung up.    Later the same day I got another call from a different gentleman(?).  When I told him about the precious caller he kept denying that they have anybody with an , denied the number that appears on the caller-id as his call did (yep,pretty dumb)..and tried to say they are in CA.  When I told him he is calling from the same MA number the previous guy called from, he also abruptly hung up too!  What a bunch of immature idiots that work there!
