tired of getting these damn phone calls.

This telemarketing Boiler Room constantly call our FAX machine number.  Caller I.D. shows: CONSUMER SEEK.  Apparently their auto-dialer dials consecutie umbers and the their 'system' redials several times a day until someone answers.  They have been calling our FAX # for 10 days.  Our FAX does not take 'voice' calls from a tape recorder type of script.  We're on the 'Federal'  DO NOT CALL LIST but this outfit seems to ignore the Legal requirements !

I get this call at least 2 times a day, every day.  It is so annoying. Lots of time on the back porch or in the bathroom, stop what I'm doing and have to go back in side and answer the phone..I'd like the steps necessary to get this stopped.
I'm 72 years old and can't run that fast anymore, damn 'em...

CALLED AT LEAST EVERY 3 HRS EVERY DAY FROM 9AM TO 8PM AND AM TOTALLY SICK OF THIS

I have been getting several calls from this number, I do not answer and the message they leave is nothing, just taking up my space, I'm on the do not call list but they are still calling, what gives.

Why do you folks believe you are going to get any results from the Do Not Call Registry?  These companies do not have the integrity to see if you are on such a list?  They are just like the current Obama Regime who do exactly what THEY WANT and to hell with anything WE WANT.  It's that simple, so stop bellyaching about being on a DNC list.  These jerks are thankful for the list because there will be less competition using your phonelines.

got called three times straight in a row.  i let the machine pick up. message said press any number then cuts off
the second time i turned the phone on and off real quick.
the third time i let the machine pick up, repeated the press any number.

Called me twice within a half an hour. I didn't pick up. I too am on the do not call list.

Obviously filing a complaint with FTC doesn't work.

There should be a blacklist of phone numbers, like there is for email addresses of spammers.

Then the option of requesting these be blocked with your phone provider should be mandated by the government.

anybody who thinks that this has anything to do with Obama is an IDIOT. These are just typical telemarketers. report em' and be done with it. it's nothing to get all foamy in the mouth about.

Received 3 calls from 978-570-2267 within 30 minutes this evening.  Didn't answer the first 2 times.  Finally answered the third time just to tell them off.  It was a canned message.  I hung up.  Hopefully they won't call back.

I have recieved several calls from this number but do not answer and no message is ever left. I hesitate to call the number back because of all the phone scams.  The latest being a caller will call your cell phone...once the cell phone owner engages the call it opens the door for the "caller" to upload spyware to your cellular phone...thus every conversation you have with your family, bank, billers etc....is recorded.  How do I get them to stop calls to my cellular....

I also get 2 calls per day on my cell phone (which is also listed on the National Do Not Call Registry).  So annoying.  What good is a Do Not Call Registry if it is ignored.

This number has called my cell three times already today, one call right after the other.
I answered and got nothing - just dead air.
So I called back, pressed one to be put on their do not call list or whatever.
Haven't received another call yet, we'll see.
I really don't see what gives them the right to call someone's personal cell phone, let alone how they got my number, but I guess that's America for ya.

TWICE in one day... make them stop

Like many of you, I am on the Do Not Call list. However, when I've contacted the FCC with a complaint, I've been told on more than one occasion that if I do not take the call and know that the caller is trying to sell me something, my complain is not valid. I always thought that meant I shouldn't get a call in the first place. However, this is apparently not the case.

Call me again and I will be filing a police report for "Annoying Phone Call". Not interested in whatever you're selling from Rhode Island.

A few weeks ago, I selected the option to discontinue being called, but I continue to get calls.  This is quite frusturating.

I don't know who these morons are, but they keep calling me every night between the hours of 8-5am. Obviously, calling me at a reasonable hour of the day is too much hard work so they decide to call me at ludicrous hours in the hope that they will succeed in scamming me. I swear, If I found these people, I'd strangle them!

This is a marketing company that is hitching its wagon, probably illegally, to the Obama name.  I am tired of reading the mindless  attacks which some commenters make on President Obasma himself on this site.

bludnz, Obama has nothing to do with these scam calls and he isn't the one who has gotten us into this mess.  It was idiot Bush and his administration.  The bad economy didn't just happen over night, it took 8 yrs of Bush~

all the caller Id says is from Wilmington MA. And the message they leave is dead air. They called twice in less the 30 mins.! Am tired of these companys calling me to buy or anything else. If I need something I will call them. The goverment needs to step down on these companys to stop harrasing the American Consumer. Now that is one company I will not call just because they bugged me.

since I rent, would love to know how refinancing would help me and my family.  I've been on the DNC lists since the beginning and registered new numbers as mine changed.  Doesn't seem to help, still get these and debt collection calls for people who previously had our number.  DO NOT ANSWER then you don't get your blood pressure up!  Let your answering machine do its job then delete.

Don't blame Obama -- he has nothing to do with these scum bags who are just using his name, without his permission.  They don't care about your politics -- they just want your money.  If someone else were president, they would drop that name.  Obama can't stop them, and unfortunately, neither can we.  All of this "Do Not Call" business is nice -- but it is unenforceable because the perpetrators will not cooperate and give us the information that is needed to prosecute them.

They've called me twice today (about an hour apart).  I don't answer calls I don't recognize...AND THEY CALLED MY CELL PHONE!!  Anyway, I checked it out on here and decided to call them back.  I got a recorded message telling me to press 1 if I don't want to receive anymore calls.  So, I pressed 1.  We'll see.  I'm also on the Do Not Call list, for all the good that does.

I received a call and looked it up here. while on line I received another, so I answered. It was a recording about credit card debt. And the recording gave me a prompt to take my number off their list, did it, have not gotten another call since.   shhh, Big Brother is watching.....
