Robo-call from 'Mike at the Carpet Cleaning Company...' I pushed the # to be connected to a live person. As soon as I said I was on both US and TX DNC list, the person hung up on me. I filed a complaint at US DNC website. And BTW, I haven't had my carpets professionally cleaned in FIVE years so I'm NOT on their customer list, and in fact had the carpets cleaned back then by a reputable local company that has not contacted me since.

Call all the time, once said something about mortgage fraud, then the next several calls I do not answer...ugh

called the number and they said if you received a call from them, was because you were on their list.   press 1 to be removed.   i pressed 1, said thank you, you have been removed, we will see.

I have received numerous calls from this outfit. It doesn't seem to matter if I press 3 to be "immediately" taken off their list. According to the PA Attorney General's office, the number is from Daisy Carpet Care and PA is investigating them for not buying the National Do Not Call list!!!
Please send a letter to your state Attorney General's Office noting the day and time of the call. You will get a response. I emailed first, and found that more action can be done if you send a letter.

No message left, but when I checked to see if there had been any calls I saw this number had called at 12:32PM Caller ID says "Wilmington, MA"

We let answering machine screen all unkown callers.  No message left.

However, I figured out that this phone number accepts faxes. I suggest that we all inundate them with repeated faxes telling them to no longer call your numbers !!!
When they run out of fax paper - perhaps they will get the message !!!
Also, Wal-Mart will sell you an old-fashioned metal coach's whistle for a couple of bucks. It has been very effective for me in the past !!!

This number called a business about mortgage insurance.  Before I could figure out what it was, line started ringing again.  I put this call on hold and picked up other line.  It was this number but this time they didn't say anything.  With it just repeat dialing.  I finally hung up when I saw the number.  This occurred 5 different times.

2-3 times a week calls this a$$hat company. "hello this is mike from the carpet cleaning company'. It's been going on for awhile. I push the right button to be removed and it does no good. losers keep calling my number

Prerecorded carpet cleaning. Breaking the law by calling people they know are on the do-not-call list. I filed a complaint with the FCC. It's easy, everyone should do it.

These idiots may be trying to use this MO to check whether somebody is there at home and based on that plan a Burglary.

I got my first call from these losers today.  I've already reported them to the FTC.  Scum bag telemarketers.

Called me names when I asked for a supervisor.  Then hung up on me.  No matter I am registered with DNC registry.

Received multiple calls from this number trying to sell carpet cleaning services - they clearly don't respect the do not call lists.  I've tried to talk to a person and as soon as you look like you're not actually going to make an appointment they just hang up on you - very rude.

A company like this that operates this way definitely shouldn't be trusted sending anyone to your home - their "carpet cleaners" are just as likely to be checking out your home to return when you're not there!  Please don't let companies like this survive - don't give them your hard earned money!

Robo Call from "Mike's Carpet Cleaning Company" at 4pm on 2/4/09.  Hung up without listening to the rest of the message.  Dialed *69 and phone company gave me their number as 978-570-2296.

ANOTHER Recorded message from "Mike at Carpet Cleaning Service". I pressed 1 and got an operator who wanted to make an appointment for carpet cleaning. Told her I wanted to have my # taken off calling list and she asked if I was on the do not call registry. Told her I was, and that her company was in violation of the law. She said "I'll take you off" and promptly hung up without taking down my number. I filed a complaint with the DNC registry, but considering the number of complaints about this number that pop up in a Google search I really have to wonder if the DNC registry actually does anything about complaints.

There were several calls from this number 1 978-570-2296 to two of my phones.  I didn't answer.  They didn't leave any message.

Frequently robo-calls for carpet cleaning. The computer says to press 3 to be removed from their calling list. When I press 3 I get a message saying "that is an invalid option." So I made an appointment which I do not intend to keep.

I get a call from these scammers every day at noon. I recently bought a panasonic cordless phone that lets me block callers based on caller id, it sends them a busy signal!. If anyone is interested, here is the model number KX-TG9334T ...it was $89 on Frys.
