called and hung up?????????????????

I just got a call from that number and it is the umpteenth time!! I did answer after one ring to get them to stop, and got a dial tone.  How can they be stopped from calling?  How can that be OK?  So irritating!!

They call 2-3 times/day and it rings twice then hangs up

Calls frequently, mostly when I am not home. This evening, rang twice, hung up.

When I pick up the phone, it asked me to press 4 to receive or make a call

either says goodbye or dial 4 for outside line

2nd time they have called.  It is now 10:15pm!  I am filing another complaint with the FCC.

This number called my home business line at 9:53 pm Saturday July 25. Caller ID said INFORMATION SEC. Didn't leave a message. This isn't the first time. My phone line is DSL.

This number just called me 10 minutes ago (8:40pm in my time zone) and on the 9th in the afternoon.  Rang twice and stopped.  This late at night I would have answered it and I tried but was not quick enough for them.  I hate telemarketing!!

I got the same as Ken (above) so far as what called ID said: "INFORMATION SEC"

Got this call today.  Didn't answer the phone but the Caller ID said "INFORMATION SEC"

Said "Dial 4 to make an outside call" to me too.

We did not answer, but I looked at the map for the area where reverse phone lookup showed the number.  Looks like Milton Way in Wilmington MA in a big building just off main street.  Have not tried google earth.

Azzholes called me, too. I'm filing a complaint with the FCC. I would recommend that you all file a complaint with the FCC.

This faka keeps callin' and hangin' up! WTF

3rd time it's happened.  Reported their fanny to AT&T.  It's getting old.  Female AND male voice.

I got a call from this number and when I answered there was a dial tone.  I called a friend and this number called the friend I was talking to immediately after!!!

This keeps happening repeatedly on my business line.  Anyone know how to stop it?

I have relatives at the Secret Service and they have been notified.

I answered the phone on the first ring, and they hung up. What's their problem?

Calls showing up on our Caller ID for 3 days, finally answered one & got immediate disconnect. Did NOT call that number, what's up w/this bunch. Only info I see is Wilmington, MA for possible location.

calls every day from this number.  Either rings twice and hangs up if not answered, or if answered says "press 4 to place an outgoing call".

I called the number back. It has an option immediately that lets you off their call list, and assures you that no more calls will come through. They've called at least 3 or 4 times a day for several days, with no message left, so I was glad of the option (if it works.)
