So there's these jokers posting repeatedly to craigslist using this number and a website wilmingtonmajobs.com.  I called, because I am job-hunting and the position described looked attractive (if it's not fake.)  The receptionist told me she was completely unaware that wilmingtonmajobs.com has been removed from the web (though one can find it through the Wayback Machine) and completely unaware that googling the listed phone number produces a number of complaints of this tipe.  She claimed that the company involved is called Northeast Industries, located in Building 66, Unit J at 1 Fordham Rd in Wilmington, MA, and that they sell construction and cleaning equipment. I asked about Maximum Security Alarm, at which point the receptionist transferred me to their human resources person, who pretended to be unable to hear me and then hung up on me.  

The listings also ask people to text 603-479-1377, which is not yet on this website but is apparently in New Hampshire.  

I'm not sure if these people are affiliated with Maximum Security Alarm or not, but something sketchy is going on.

Yes - then you try to call them back - to tell them to remove you from their calling list/data base and the line is busy or just disconnects.

Name on caller ID is Sales Service but no message was left.

non profit org can call "do not call" list. I checked the rules with the Att Gen of my state. There is a whole list of exceptions to the do not call list. Turn off your phone and check your vm often. Good luck.

when calling back their menu says: if you do not....please press 1 and your number will be removed within 72 hrs.......fine.......when does it start.......4 days later it keeps on going 5 times a day. If there is any justice, let it start now..........................

We get a call from this number every day w/o fail.  We don't have any bad credit so we just put it down to a "s*** faced crank" who has nothing better to do.

I hate being played - and constantly annoyed by this morons - so thank you for going to the trouble to research and post the info here.  My home number is unlisted and I do not, under any circumstances, post it or share it with anyone on the Internet - so whatever b.s. explanation these idiots have for getting my private number, it's a lie.  Anyway, thanks for sharing the details on this sleeze bag company.  If they like playing games so much perhaps I'll take a little trip to their office - and I'll bring a 'friend' with me in case I have any problems :)

again i have received a call from this number, and again i filed a complaint with "donotcall.gov" .
every time a telemarketer calls i file a complaint.
i figure there has to be a reason we're on the registry and i want the fines and penalties paid!

thanks for the info.  I am also on the do not call list and I report companies to the FCC-Federal Consumer Complaints.  Their website is easy to get to and you fill a complaint.  Let's stop this jerk from calling us again.

Don't believe this response-yes he is located in Sacramento, but uses a robot dialer based in MA which he routes his calls through.  Why would his Company when you call them directly be so quick to put you on a DNC list?  Call them, do it and see if the calls from 978 stop.  He is full of b/s.  Check all the information out on the web about his claims to not be responsible.

This company is really Maximum Security out of Sacramento, CA.  If you call back the 978-570-2447 number you get the option to be removed from their call list by pressing 1.  IT DOES NOT WORK.

The owner of this sham Company is Andrew Higgins (other websites have reported this)-his direct extension is 301.  Flood him with calls/voicemails, dead air etc.
His extension was verified by a friend of mine call the 888 number above and asking for him-and of course got sent to voicemail.  He left an appropriate message!

Do Not Call Registry is a joke at best.  These calls are coming from a call center that specializes in scams and the number on your Caller ID is fake.  They are using an auto dialer on a computer with the ability to spoof Caller ID. Finding them would require actual effort on the part of the DNC people and that will never happen.  Some of these call centers are outside of US jurisdiction so even if they felt like tracking them down they could not shut them down.  Welcome to the age of no privacy - get used to it because it will only get worse.  If they are calling your smart phone you can download one of several free apps to block the numbers.  I have one that allows me to block anything I designate under the name Z in my contact list.  They only call once and then I never have to deal with them again. The calls don't even go to voicemail - they just vanish.
