This time this number makes minus :-) I get I call from this number to my german cellphone... I hope he get a big invoice :-) But I don´t know from who he get my number??? It´s my business cellphone... Really strange...

I called myself from Skype and my cell recorded this number. Obviously, it can be used legitimately or not.

It's a Skype routing number, it comes up when my girlfriend calls me from Thailand. You will not be charged to answer this phone number. The user who called you has to pay based on Skype's rate. Everytime my girlfriend calls I pay nothing. Calm Down.

I got a call  from a girl named Maria i have been exchanging emails with. she is supposedly a doctor in russia who is moving to the US and wants to meet me in person.  she might even move to my area - she says.  she sends me lots of pictures and tells me she has told her mom and her friends about me. she wants my address but i have not given it to her.

This # came up when my daughter calls from africa. Got to do with skype.

My husband was calling from Greece via Skype. This is strange...

I got a call from this same number.I don't normally answer strange numbers.But the call keep coming with the same number and i had to answer and behold it was my step mum.Asked how she did it,she said its some kind of app that saves money and reduce phone bills.

So as a cop what action have you taken? To prevent this to continue?

I use Samsung Andriod in my app,I have an app called cheaper than skype, I use this app to make cheap calls to my girlfriends,this morning my girlfriend called me and alerted me about this site and wanted to share my thoughts about the whole comment.I bet all of you will agree with that in every organisation there is always a crook and because this app is free and easy to use alot of people use it for various kinds of reasons you all have stated here but I think we are all matured to know when something is real or fake.so please fellas dont spoil this service by posting ill things about an app that is serving the good people of America.

you all are stupid f****ng a***s,this number is an internet number and sometimes when you use google call you get genetrated numbers which often appears as a caller ID but in real sense its not because when you call the same number back it rings somewhere else not the one you got the call from.YOU ALL NEED TO GO GET A LIFE AND A JOB.

Yes, same here.  Met on Match, same name, petroleum in Hong Kong, but story changed; parents are deceased; asked me to move money from his account to my account and then "pay" a friend.  You would think this guy wouldn't mess with me; I'm a cop.

He reached me on Match.com. His name Jacques Jean, a supposed french man. We had corresponded for a few weeks but he was calling from a Yucca Valley, CA. # . His story in petroleum in Hong Kong working. Wanting me to join a venture his father had in gold from Ghana to Miami..costing me 150,000.00 that would be reimbursed! !! He speaks with a heavy accent. He still calls telling me he loves me and we have never met..lol look out!

Th8s caller had a site on Senior People Meet. After talking to them for a good bit we exchanged phone numbers. the man said he was Robert Picketts from North Carolina and was an x Marine. He said he had taken over his fathers lumber business and was in Hong Kong making a deal for a shipment of lumber. Then he was going to come see me after he returned to North Carolina. Even went so far as to say he loved me. He said he needed 3590.oo for air ticket to my house and then he would pay for hotel and my ticket to his house. When I started to check up on him he did not exist. The company I called he said he owned was a fake. The phone number he was using then came out of a communication company located in New York. Now this other number is located in MA. this is a scammer of the worst kind.

I am an American in New Zealand with a NZ phone no. and got a call from this no. I didn't get a response to my 'hello' for a moment, but someone with an accent stammered and said that they had a wrong no. I hung up as he was saying more. Know people in Mass. so checked to see  whose no. this could be. Glad I found out it was a fraud, was about to call back in case it was something important from a friend.

I received a call from a friend who had been contacted by an individual who wanted to speak to me.Speaking with a heavy accent and stating that he was from the investigation, my friend was left with a threatening message that if I did not get in touch with this individual,I would be in serious legal trouble.
I just received a phone call where an individual claiming to be Michael Philips started threatening me with legal action if I did not comply.His English is really bad and he makes absolutely no sense.
The number where he is calling from is coming up as Sacramento 916-395 0000,CA but he wants me to contact him at a number 978-587 0594 that is situated in Massachusetts!
I am going to contact the police first thing tomorrow morning and report these people.

Have gotten a call at work.  One day they are located in Denver Colorado and the other day they were located in Massachusettes.  Department of Law and investigation. When I asked for their address they hung up on me and when I called back they didn't asnwer.

Received a call from someone named David White-I told them that I reported this number to the authorities and have already given them my lawyers number and hung up.

Yes and when I called them back they are a scam.  They are trying to get you to fax them a payment authorization and a cc # along with an authorization form.  DO NOT DO THIS.  It's a scam when I called the company they supposedly were working for they told me they had never heard of this company and to give them the info so they can report it as fraud.  And they blocked my number after I called them back and told them I spoke with the company they were supposedly working for.

Well 2 day I think they called me about 5 time and he was telling that he was a police officer and he was just trying to help me and that the only way  to help me was that (I needed to pay $300 so they can stop me from going to jail lol  and then he said$400  people don't give any info.... but did have fun telling him he needs to learn to speak our language 1st when we will talk lol

I got this call he said his name is Robert Smith who's name is American with an heavy accent like that right smh. Don't believe anything these people speak don't even pick up the phone. These fake threatening phone calls are illegal!! Just laught at them people!
