This number has contacted me twice today, each time when I answered and said the party they were asking for was unavailable, they hung up.

Two more calls from 979-638-4183 this week. I answered the first only to find an incredibly obnoxious individual try to sell auto extended warranties. I expressed my disinterest and told him about the several calls I had received from this number in the past few months - and that I was on the Do Not Call list - and that I had specifically asked that my number be taken off their list. I told him that I was annoyed at the repeated calls, which I considered harassment. He said that it would be hard to stop the calls (What?) He would not stop talking. I finally hung up. Of course there was another call today - which I ignored. I will file another complaint.

9786394183 has been calling my phone daily for the last several days. I finally answered it today and was greeted by a man who told me that my car warranty had expired and his company was offering replacement coverage. He knew my auto make and model and asked for the mileage. I gave him no info but when I asked him for the name of his company so that I could look into it further, he promptly hung up and discontinued the call. When I tried to call the number back to complain, I got a recorded message saying the office is closed and to please call back during their normal business hours 7A-4P Pacific time. By the way, it was within that time period when I called. My number is on the Do Not Call List so I also registered this complaint with the FTC.

Same thing happened to me. I immediately hung up when it took the standard 2 seconds for the telemarketing software to assign my call to one of the likely many headsetted minimum wagers from who knows what country to start spilling their bs.

One person named "Jeremy" wants to sell me an extended coverage for my car. I told him I'd never done business with him, so please take my name and number off the calling list.

No message to my answering machine as I watch the ID and "out of area" comes up. Unless I recognize the caller ID, I don't answer!
But to Google the number, one finds it's a locksmith in Sudbury. I wouldn't bother calling back. I am annoyed when they waste my precious minutes on my cell phone.

Answered because it was a 978 number- It's a vehicle processing place, as others said to extend a warranty I don't even have on my car. Didn't let them get far before hanging up.

i've had about a half dozen missed calls from them over the past week. Haven't answered any and no voice-mails have been left.

"7 am to 4 pm, Pacific time"???? In Sudbury, Massachusetts, that would be Eastern time. This is just another of the warranty scams with a spoofed number on the Caller ID. Don't even bother answering. They have been calling my home daily (several times a day) for almost 3 weeks now. I am writing this after the third call today. I don't answer, just added it to my "crap" number list and my phone software do it's job and disconnect the call. Yes, I have googled the number, especially since I am familiar with Sudbury, MA, and it comes up as a locksmith company with no specific name, and various addresses. I don't believe it exists.
When an unfamiliar number calls repeatedly throughout the day, leaving no message, it's a pretty good bet that it is just crap scammers. Don't waste your time with them.

They called me on my cell three times recently. On Wednesday, I missed the call, no message. I called back that evening, got a "we're closed, please call during normal business hours" message.
They call again on Thursday- I answered. Man with heavy accent started talking about the warranty being expired on my car. (He had my name and make/model/year of the car right.) Told him I already had one-- he asked "when did I buy it?" Told him from the dealer, at time of purchase. He said OK, we'll update our records.
Missed another one today (Friday). Called back- get the message "Our office closed now- please call back during normal business hours- 7 am to 4 pm, Pacific time." (It was middle of the day!)

I looked up the number and it's listed as a locksmith; I don't think that company is involved; I think that the telemarketer just spoofed a number to make it look like a local call. They knew my name and vehicle; they claimed they were calling to extend my warranty, but they were vague about a relationship to Chrysler. Other numbers on this site also refer to calls from "vehicle processing department".
