I'm so sick & tired of these people calling my phone number and hanging up, YOU ALL ARE IGNORANT!

I've been getting calls from that number regularly for years. It's some call center located outside the U.S., and the people are trying to sell prescription drugs at premium prices. Mostly they sell sexual dysfunction aids -- things like Viagra. I get these calls at work, and I work in an environment where anyone can hear what I'm saying on the phone, so it's hard to speak openly to these callers without arousing the keen interest of my co-workers. I think it's impossible to get these callers to stop calling. One way that I've gotten some relief is to engage the person. I talk to the person like I'm from his or her country, putting on a fake South Asian accent, asking the caller if he or she speaks Gujarati, a specific South Asian dialect. I quickly draw them in by asking that question, and nobody has been able to tell me that they speak this language. Then I tell them that they can call me by my nickname, "Bindi." Then I ask them their real name. After that, I tell them that I'm not really looking for any prescriptions, especially any erectile dysfunction drugs. Then I tell them that I think I've talked to them before, and that I recognize their voice. At this point, they're still engaged with me, and then I throw down the gauntlet. I say, "Yes, I remember you. Your mother is unclean." That almost always shocks and causes them to stop the conversation and hang up. Sometimes they don't call back for weeks or even months. It sounds gross and cruel, but it works.

just got the same call. we are on the DNC list, but apparently it does not work.  These ppl called yesterday from everywhere in the USA....at least a dozen or more calls.  All either hung up when the answering machine picked up, or they let it ring a time or two...then hung up.  The one I did answer was a man selling RX meds and ask where my husband was at and could they speak with him. I hung up.  I have filed so many complaints with all the FCC sites, but these calls continue.  annoying.

I used to get calls from this number almost every day for several months.  After asking, then begging, them to please stop calling, I had enough. When they called the next day, I picked up - but instead of speaking, I grabbed a whistle and blew as hard as possible into the phone. That was three days ago. So far, so good.

I have gotten several calls from this number. They never left a voicemail. Tonight I answered and was told it was an agent with the DEA who was going to report me to local authorities for purchasing illegal and counterfeit drugs online. I told him I didn't want to talk to him it was a bogus call he told me to get a good lawyer and hung up. I will go to my star attorney generals website and report the number. They have helped me before with robo calls.

This number calls my cell phone at least once a day. I have ask to be taking off their call list and reported them to the Federal Comumications Commission.

Since they call may work number, the DNC list won't work, so I reported them to the FTC directly...

Indian man soliciting fro drug co. Told "do not call again"  . . hung up on me.

I don't know about these other people, but someone at this number "miss-dialed" me about 30 times in the last 5 days. (Why are tons of people being "miss-dialed" from the same number anyway?) In a week or so, I'll start getting "miss-dialed" over and over and over again from yet another number. This has been happening to me for 7+ years. These are not accidental one-off calls. They are incessant and they are systematic. Be grateful that your number hasn't been picked up by one of these distributed phone number lists. I'm not sure how I got on one and I don't know how to avoid it. Also, please kindly f*** off.

Pharmacy- wanted to sell me illegal drugs.

This becomes a real harassment when you work nights and sleep days.

In the past three days I have also received calls from:

They want to arrest me.

Now if I just had an ex-wife and child support-  I'd be in perfect shape!!!!!!!!!!!!

This number is calling my cell phone daily and I wish it to stop.

We get calls from this number all the time. Even if you answer the call they never say anything.

I think the person defending these morons are the callers them selves..

they called me-what DO i do?

It is an online pharmacy sales person who got your number from a data base.  The one calling me "Robert" with an Indian accent has been calling multiple times a day and is psychiotic! He says he will only stop calling if I buy $150 dollars worth of drugs!!

They go by the name USA Pharmacy and US Online Pharmacy - I've received calls from telemarketers who have used both of these company names, both bogus.

They have also called using the following spoof phone numbers:

Whenever this company calls, I will get 2 seconds of silence, followed by the caller. The caller is nearly always male, asking, "May I speak to Mr. so-and-so?" and always in a thick Indian accent. With little prodding, then they say, "This is USA Pharmacy (or US Online Pharmacy)."

I am getting calls from this number and ,many others that are some strange pharmacy company and I tell them I am on a Do Mot Call List and they want to argue with you about the fact that you buy RX from them , These people are crazy!  How do we make this stop?

Doesn't matter if you are on the DNCL, someone who had your telephone number purchased drugs via the internet without a prescription before.  YOUR COMPLAINT IS NOT LEGITIMATE WHEN IT IS THE FIRST TIME SOMEONE CALLS YOU. LEARN WHAT THE LIST IS ABOUT BECAUSE PEOPLE YOU DO BUSINESS WITH CAN CALL YOU GENIUS.  WHEN I GET YOUR NUMBER I WILL FILE A COMPLAINT FOR BEING A MORON!

OMG - You didn't answer and they didn't leave a message so you ran out asap and googled the number and posted about it.  Here's a thought: someone miss-dialed and didn't leave a message when they didn't recognize your voice.  You were probably the person who would immediately *69 someone, before caller id existed, when a person called you and didn't leave a message so you could see if you recognized their voice when they said hello and then hang-up if you didn't recognize it.

They have been calling at least once a day. I am on a do not call list. Whenever I answer and tell them to stop calling they hang up and call again...... sometimes the next day. This harassment really needs to stop

They call constantly - at least 3 times a day.  Please make them stop.

It will a tough road to stop these pharmacies from calling based the assumption that Big Pharma is behind all this
