I received a call in the evening asking for a gentleman named Mike.  When I said that I didn't know who it was they asked if I knew him to which I replied "no."

This number just called me on 4/28/08 and my phone is register with the Do Not Call List. I didn't pick up. I checked on line and found this site. Next time they call I will pick up and threat the mess out of them b/c my cell number is unlisted and on the Do Not Call list.

They keep changing their number.JA Cambece Law Office but in reality they are debt collection.I do the same for all the collection agencies I keep a journal of cals and then turn it over to law enforcement and will let them deal with it.I also keep a tape of any converstions or threats that they make,that too is turned over to law enforecement and perhaps will turn it over to phone Company as well

Called at 6:30 in the morning, no talking at all, just annoying to run down stairs when I had just run up to change for work.  Now that I know about them, I'll warn my in home day care provider to refuse whatever they ask!(5/01/08)

Definitely a collection agency w/law firm attachment.  I owe from an old credit card.  I said no problem - yes I owe - I will pay.  But they were ugly and wanted it now.  Dudes!  If I had it all now, wouldn't I pay it?  Oh please.

calling claiming to be a lawyer wanted my social sercurity number when I refused they called back - were very pushy and rude

These people started calling my cell phone about 4 weeks ago (early February 2008).  I have had my cell number for about 6 years and have only given it to family/friends, not even to co-workers and NEVER for business.  Also, I moved into another state two years ago and took my cell number with me, so I have no idea why these people suddenly stared calling.(My credit is excellent.) Maybe they random dial.
Anyway, they sometimes block their incoming number and always leave a text message which reads: 8662154959.  Hope this helps someone.

These f***ers are persistant as hell.  I have warned two other agents to stop calling me this is a business cell phone number you are calling.  They still wont quit.  Now I will sue them.

Received two calls from this number on two different days.  The first time I picked up the caller asked to speak to someone who doesn't live here and I promptly hung up.  The caller ID say Cambece Law...they handle collections out of Boston.

a woman by the nmae of Stephanie Evans called my house at 8:24 in the morning.on 5/21/2008( Wednesday morning) I did not answer the phone.Voice mail was left. She left me a phony number of 866-203-9099.

yeah they called me too and asked for my next door neighbor...? wtf over? anyways i dont think imma let my neightbor know but maybe i should esp if they are handling collections and stuff

The girl I call the "Phone stalker" because that is what She is,Stephanie Evans, called my home on May 29,200 at 3:31 Pm. I am letting law enforecement handle her.I want her in HAIL for stalking, simple assault.I also want the comapny SHUT DOWN as of tomorrow at the latest!

The same woman keeps calling me, a gal by the name of Bethany Evans. This time dear Bethany has gone too far.She called me at work whenI was busy with customers and some of the customers walked out because of it.Bethany must have low self esteem to have taken this job in the first place. She has trouble with her mother,but Hey Bethany,DON'T call my job again.I DO let the DA for our county and yours have the messages.So talk to the hand dear girl,and be sure and call your mom!

Calls constantly for my daughter and already has a judgement on her.  They will not accept a payment arrangement of any kind. I offered a payment plan myself to get them the money they refused and would rather go in front of a judge to get a smaller payment arrangement based on weekly check. Talk about cutting off your nose in spite of your face.  Also very rude and nasty disposition of Douglas Barrett.

Their answer machine states smoething along the sort.. "if you leave your SSN" that is one way that can get back in touch with you/verify who is calling..

DO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS!!! Or better yet.. play dumb with the operators, should you have the time.
1. Give them your home phone nbr as 867-5309 (make them prompt for the area code)
2. Tell them "One second.." .. move phone away from mouth.. think of a good accent/dialect... and have fun.
3. etc. etc. etc...

Has anyone had a judgement brought against them for as little as $3,000?  

I keep getting calls from a Kristin.  I talked to her 2 weeks ago and told her my situation and that I'm not able to take on any additional payments right now.  She asked me to hold, then this other woman got on and started berating me.  I hung up on her.  Now today they're calling again, saying they're sending it to legal.

These people have been calling me and leaving messages in my work phone.  I do not answer because I am working!!!!  I do have a lawyer and I will consult with him what to do with them.
