It's more annoying calls from Cigna.  Since I pay out of my own pocket for the healthcare services that I want they have no right to harress me.  If I want their help I know how to contact them and I can call for myself this stuff irks me.

Just received a call and they left me also a strange automated voice mail. I myself did not answer cause number was unknown and phone said from MA. I went ahead and blocked it from my phone.

Wouldn't a legitimate company suggest a Cigna user contact the customer service number on the back of their card? Or the website on their card? Looks like the scammers are working overtime!

Yet when I called the customer service number on the back of my Cigna card, the folks I spoke to were surprised and alarmed that someone claimed to be from Cigna and asked for my personal info.

Simple fact is you should NEVER give your info out to a caller. If they cannot provide a callback number, dump the call.

Got the same message to call back from Cigna, which i did. Interesting enough the robo voice, was  telling me, i wasn't calling from the number they called!  It was my home number and i was calling back from it.  Robovoice, hung up on me after telling me to call from the number i got the message from, so obviously its a scam or Cigna has a poorly managed system. Either way, I went to mycigna account and had no messages.  Cigna usually emails me, with vital information and that's what my settings are set at, emails, not phone calls, so i will disregard any further calls from them, in case it's fraudulent.

THIS IS NOT A SCAM!!! A lot of people, including myself, are very careful as to who we give out our information to because of all the identity scams out there. I too was hesitant to give out my address and date of birth. So I put the gentleman from Cigna on hold and researched the number just like all the other people on this website. After carefully examining all the comments I realized that this was indeed my health insurance company (Cigna) calling to make sure that everything was ok with me. In the end I was provided a health coach to make sure that all my worries were worry free. This is not a scam. If you care anything about your health or have any concerns, PICK UP THE PHONE!. It's not a bill collector nor is it someone trying to steal your identity.

Yes, be very careful ... my employer uses Cigna also ... but there's no way in the world they could have gotten the number they called on.

Oh it is Cigna. But ask yourself this? When has an insurance co. EVER called anyone to truly make their life better? If it's coming to you, you can rest assured it is not in your best interest. Just my own opinion.

  Got a suspicious call and message from "Cigna PHT". (978.867.5492) The recording was horrible quality. Said for me to call them back at: 1.877.391.9145.    Isn't the WEB wonderful to be able and find info about this BEFORE answering :)

If you are covered through Cigna, this is a call to solicit you for free health advising through your insurance. They told me they could help plan weight loss goals, manage asthma, among other things. This is not a real robocall. It's annoying, yes, but it is a service you are enrolled in. I told them I wasn't interested and they said they wouldn't call again.

When they called yesterday at 2:43 pm, a recorded voice of a woman left a message saying she was from Cigna and to please call her back at 877-391-9145  .  The recording was rather garbled and hard to understand.  "She" did pronounce my name properly, which Cigna's automated system does NOT do when I call them.  Doesn't mean I am calling back!
