I tried to call this number back because when I answered the phone there was no sound and then it was disconected.  When I called back, it connected but there was no sound on the other end.  I do have an account with them that they bought from Dell, but I'm already in the process of paying them for it.  Upon doing some research, I'm going to have to get some stuff in writing about my account with them.

you should write the MA Attorney General office and accuse them of lying about being a law office. The agency gets away with alot cause people dont complain to the attorney general. Its the only relief anyone will get from them, THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE.

I get calls from this number at least twice a day for
the past 3 weeks. I do not owe any one anything....

Has anyone ever called them back to see what they want?  I got a call, no one responds.  I am not aware of owing anyone, but if I did, I want to know.  Why don't they communicate with who they call?

I keep getting calls from this number from the cell phone I bought 3 days ago.  No one was given this number and we don't owe any debts.  Is the answer to just turn the phone off until I need it or return the phone to the company where I purchased it?  Why isn't there a law to sue these fine law abiding people?

I do not answer calls made to this phone from anyone.  This phone was purchased so we could insure having a way to call AAA for road assistance when we travel.

I keep getting phone calls from 978-975-0799 I have never heard of this company I dont have any debts for them to keep calling me on a daily basis when I answer it all  they do is hang up I  have not given my number to anyone but my friends and family I guess who ever had my number before i got it must owe people majorly it is getting very annoying and it needs to stop

Received calls from this number and their MO is still the same, you say Hello and they hang up the phone.  When you call them and tell them to stop, they just hang up and not say a thing.  How do they expect to provide customer service if they just call and hang up?  They must be complete fools.  I have filed FTC and FCC complaints as well as BBB complaints against them.  In addition, I have written Congressional heads about this issue and this company, as well, as the attorney generals in my state and the state they operate in.  This is completely illegal and for them to just hang up without saying a word, what is that?  STUPIDITY on their part.

Been calling for weeks and never leave messages.  What do they expect to happen? I'm thinking of keeping an air horn next to the phone.

Collection agency scumbags.  I told them to stop calling me, as I cleared up the debt with the ORIGINAL creditor back in October.  I only answered two of their calls - both times I told them to stop harassing me,  disputed the debt and to call their own client for proof.  This P*ssed them off  - most debt collectors do not like to lose their money, especially shady, illegal ones like V&K - and they have ramped up their harassment.  I also told them (invoking my rights under Federal Law - FDCPA and FCRA), regardless of whether debt was valid or not, and instructed them not to CALL me anymore and that they were only allowed to communicate with me in writing.  This was in December!)   Just today alone, I've already received 10 calls (it's only 1pm) and this happens every single day - even Sunday (although on Saturdays/Sundays the number shows up as  900-000-000).  I ignore the calls now, but they started this back in November and I told to CEASE & DESIST over a month ago.  They are so Illegal!!  It's a $1000 fine for them harrassing you!   (per the federal law from what I can tell by reading it online - I'm not an attorney)  In my opinion...  VERY BAD and ILLEGAL Debt Collection Practices and FCRA violations.   Btw, I just received another call from them while typing this post!    Here's where I found the info....   TITLE VIII - DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES [Fair Debt Collection Practices Act]  §806. IN MY PERSONAL OPINION ONLY FROM MY EXPERIENCE AND READING ONLINE... (this is not to be construed as legal advice - I am not a lawyer) here are some tips...

You are always better off paying your ORIGINAL CREDITOR.  Creditors are almost always willing to would be willing to accept a negotiated amount, and they wont have to pay the commission to the collection agency.  For example, negotiate with (ie, COMCAST) that you will pay debt (or a negotiated amount, several payments, etc) ONLY if they agree IN WRITING (before you make the first payment) if  they agree to remove the negative reporting from your credit report and report the debt as paid as agreed, etc.    

ALSO from reading the FCRA, as long as you are making SOME kind of payment (ie, $5.00 or $10.00 a week/month etc) the creditor cannot report you to the credit reporting agencies.   This will get the collection agency off your back too if you tell them you are making payments to the ORIGINAL creditor.

This number calls my house about 20 times a day.  I answer the phone and they say NOTHING.  Then why the haell are you harassing me?

This is group is very aggressive and less than friendly and worse full of b***s***!
Listen no matter what they tell you, do NOT worry, these clowns can do NOTHING to you!
The amount of money that they are most likely attempting to collect from you is not worth the true legal fees to pursue the matter.
This collection group knows darn well the best that they can hope for is for you to fall for the threats and persist behavior of call and threats.
NO matter what you owe, you will NOT go to jail, nor is anything going to happen other than a negative on your credit report, and most likely that is already on your credit report. You have nothing to lose.
Just HANG up on them.
Worse yet, do NOT make and payment arrangements unless they supply you documentation first!
After you carefully look over any WRITTEN documentation then it is up  to you. Remember YOU are in the drivers seat with this group, DO NOT let them fool you into anything else

I HAVE BEEN STAYING WITH MY ELDERLY MOTHER AND THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO INTEGRITY AT ALL.  IF THEY ARE  COLLECTING FOR DELL THEN THEY ARE DEFINITELY CALLING THE WRONG HOUSE.  MY MOTHER DOESN'T EVEN OWN A COMPUTER.  THEY CALL ALMOST DAILY, AT ALL TIMES OF THE DAY AND NIGHT, AND NEVER SAY A WORD.  ALTHOUGH MOST TIMES THEY ARE APPARENTLY CHEWING (OPEN-MOUTHED, COW CUD-CHEWING LOUDLY) THEY DO NOT HAVE THE DECENCY TO SPEAK.  I AM LOGGING THE CALLS AND TIMES, THERE IS A RECORDER ON THE PHONE, AND WHEN THEY HAVE TAKEN ENOUGH ROPE, MY LAWYER CAN DEAL WITH THEM.  MY MOTHER DID NOT LIVE TO THE AGE SHE IS TO BE HARRASSED BY THE LIKES OF THEM.

This number calls me at least 2 to 3 times a week, and the one time I was near my phone to answer it I could barely understand the lady but when she asked to speak to so and so. But I knew it was not my name so I told her you have the wrong number and then hung up after I could not understand her. Now every time I answer they hang up as soon as I say Hello.
I have no debt and no idea why they call me weekly.

This number called my house and cell...neither time did they say anything.  If this is for Dell I have never had any kind of account with them.  How did they get my cell number anyway????

It is 7:00 pm at night and I got two calls from 9789750799.  Why are they allowed to call my cell phone and how do they get the number. It's all bs.  I put them on my block list.
