I just received the confirmation from my Secretary that the payment
has been issued and mailed out to you using courier service, hopefully
will be delivered to your address within 2-3 days,but to my greatest
surprise the check was issued out in the sum of $2000 instead of the
actual cost of my purchase.She claimed that I requested for that
amount to be issued out to you but am very sure I only made a request

Yes she is currently trying to scam me out of more money. I made the mistake of wiring he first shipping fee because they sent the info through what I thought were authentic pay pal emails but were 100 percent fake. Right now she like sent me a check for way too much and is asking why haven't  you cashed it so you can money gram the money to my mover anthony Montenegro. I was ignorant the first time, now I. Enjoy wasting his or her time. Her cousin in Ohio really needs the bed I'm selling. So pissed I'm out 250. Wish there was a way to get this person.

today I recieved a check for 1890$ for an item i listed on craigslist and emails with this # 979-289-1054 and the email is beajunkie2@goolemail.com and the name being used is maria jones so look out chris changed his name i called the bank and its really an auto shop in another state

We received a very similar communication via email (same address) and text  (208-689-7604) from Chris Simon in response to an ad we placed on Craigslist.  He also mailed a larger amount on check and then requesting to have the funds wired to his mover.  Please to any who receive a reply from Chris do not provide further information.  This is a definite scam.

Here is his reply.  Note that the original Craigs List Ad contained five photos of the baler, description of condition and the total price.
