I also get these and I live in Bryan Texas. The caller id also shows it coming from "Reid Debra". This is a trick of the solicitors in that it makes you think it's a local call coming from YOUR area code because it looks like a local caller, having no area code. They have learned that people will not answer if the display shows an "800" number so they're now trying this. It may actually be a local number. I just called 979-297-1224 and got a ring/no answer (I let it ring six times before hanging up).

Keep in mind that with the right hardware/software you can cause a caller id box to display ANY NUMBER AND NAME YOU WANT when you call it! You can also cause the number sent to a called person to be scrambled so it won't display. (I retired in 2008 with 31 years with Verizon.)

Same basic practice applies....if you don't recognize the name/number do NOT answer it. You can also go to the FCC web site and file a complaint against the name and number that displays, especially if you answer and get nothing.

Keep getting calls from this number, and I wish they would stop calling, also calling my moms home
