Same here. This just happened to me too today. (March-29-2010)

May 18/10 1:40pm. Just received a call from this number. Didn't answer it. Second in a 2 weeks. The automated message left a partial voicemail. Something about winning a trip....

Got a call from 979446-0366.
Ironic I have family in Texas with the 979 area code.
Not one of the family's phone numbers.
How they got my number in Ottawa I have no idea.
Oh the telemarketing thing. We should include them all in no call lists.

Received phone call on cell phone. did not answer as area code was long distance. not sure who called as I live in ontario. found out area code is from texas. do not know anyone in texas.

I'm in Edmonton, AB and missed a call from this number at 12:23pm local (MST) time. Sounds like a 'free vacation' scam.

I'm in Alberta and have had that number call a number of calls in the past - most recently at 1PM today.

received a call at 4:15pm mst from this number today.
did not answer because my phone is only local use. i am with telus on my plan.
what do these people expect to gain???  it sounds like the people who have answered their call from this number only get a partial pitch about a "you won". makes no sense to me.

got call today. when I picked up there was no answer. I called back. There was no call note but a straight answer machine with a drugged person's voice " This number is not allocated"!

i guess beware of that.

I am getting these calls every other day as well, rings 2 and then cuts out

I received a call from that number last night on my cell. I did not answer. Good for me!

Just got one didn't bother answering it and seems as though I'm glad I didn't waste my time and I'm from Southern Ontario.

Ya I got this too on May 5th. No idea how they got that number because I just got a new cell number.

Got the call today and hung up.  What's the point?  How can we stop them?

I got a call in TO and it left a msg about winning a trip... dont know what they get out of this, i dont think most people are stupid enough to believe they won a trip without applying for anything

Im from montreal, quebec and i have received this call about 2 minutes ago! Nobody answered
so my boyfriend played guitar through the phone just in case there was somebody on the line... For fun... But there was nothing but silence. So i ended the call and made i search and i saw it was from Bryan in texas wtffffff WE BETTER CUT HIS HEAD !!!!!!! :)

My cell phone ringer was muted and the caller ID logged a call from the number 979-446-0366 on Friday April the 16th. I did not recognize the number and did a reverse look up but no information was available. I searched the area code and it is in Texas U.S.A. I did not receive any voice mail as I had it turned off. I do not know anyone from from Texas and I do not give my cell phone number out as I only use it for out calls only. I am in Ontario Canada and my cell phone service is with Virgin Mobile.

Just got this one on my work cell phone in Regina.  Same deal about vacation package in Orlando.

Add me to the list - they called my Toronto Cell number offering a vacation package in Orlando.  Does anyone know who is behind this scam or what they do when they realize the number has a real person attached?

im from newfoundland too, and i got the call at 2:52pm on march 30th...weird. it was a missed call, their was a voicemail but nothing there.
