I recieved a text message from this number stating that due to unusual activity my credit union account had been close which sounded a little suspicious to me so instead I contacted my financial institution and my credit card companies.

I received the same text message yesterday.  I did not call the number that it said to call...but called my financial institution directly.

i recieved an text message on my cell phone stateing that my union credit banking account was suspended due to unusall activity and that i should call 979-583-4000 imediately to resolve this issue..(6/17/2008)

Number has been shut down due to criminal activity.  If you, in the past, revealed any personal information to this number, contact your financial institution.  There is a recording on this number that provides further information.
