This number keep calling followed by a 915 area code. When you call it back it's come company trying to help you find a college. I just added them to my reject list because it's annoying especially since I graduated from college 3 years ago!!!!

Kids Wish is based in Holiday, Florida. They use a telemarketing company by the name of Organizational Development to call people across the country, They do in fact, use different phone numbers.They are routed out of Florida.

The reason no one is there when you answer is because these agencies use a phone dialing device that dials between 3-5 phone numbers at a time.  The first number to  pick up gets the "human", the rest nothing.  Lesson: he who hesitates....keeps their money!

No message just states texas on id call

I didn't try to call it back. I told my wife it could be some overseas scam where they charge you $30 a minute or something. I have the same story as everyone else. When you say hello it hangs up.

Just got a call from them today. No response when I answered. Has anyone tried calling them back and not saying anything when they answer?  HA

Someone from this number keep calling, when I answer no one say anything.

I got a call today from this number and answered it thinking it was regarding my son in Texas who is going through so much trouble now.  When I answered the lady "Brenda" asked for me by my first name.  My heart stopped.  She stated she was calling for the Wish Foundation.  I just lost it on her and told her to stop calling and hung up.

As I was calming down, I remembered last month when I had a similar call for the Policemen Foundation and told them also to stop calling.  Then I remember the Breast Cancer Foundation calls about three times a year.  I always asked how they got my name and number but they had no definite answer.  I have politely asked them to also stop calling.

Now after reading the blog about Forrest Sandusky Baker III, individual and an owner and principal of Feature Films for Families, Inc., Corporations for Character, L.C., and Family Films of Utah, Inc. it all comes back.  

Since I do not donate to charities over the phone, my number is unlisted, and have all these friendly people calling me by my first name from different charities that I may know where it started.  

I feel I know that was originated in the year of 1992 when I ordered "clean" movies (twice) for my son through his Christian DayCare center.  Those calls never stopped and continued on even when he went to college after pleading for them to remove my number on too many occasions to mention.  They were relentless and rude.

Now it seems that they have no intention of removing my listing, just changing the name of the company they are calling to represent.  

Has anybody else had dealings with Feature Films in the past?  Just curious.  I would have a hard time believing that these calls started back then, but I have not changed my phone number in 26 years either.

This must be someone who does not know how to use a telephone. No one speaks when I answer.

If you are with ATT, use *60 to add to your blocked list. It holds 6 #s but will not do toll free but since this isn't, it works. The number never makes it to your phone so no ringing and if they do hear something, it says they are blocked and you are no accepting calls from them.

I think next time I get a call from this #, I'll just answer "Hello, my name Peggy." See what they say about that. :)

These people have called me twice in 20 minutes.  I have caller ID and do not answer.  They have called my number 2-3 times each day for a week.  They are almost stalking me.

Got a call and only silence on the other end

You know, somebody has to pay the bill for this telephone service, whether it is by check, credit card, or cash, somewhere there is a name attached to it. Do not call means do NOT call!

This number has been calling our home for the last 3-4 weeks. Sometimes in the day, but lately at night. No message is left.

I got one of these calls around 5:30 this evening. Just TEXAS on the CID. Nothing but noise on the other end. Very annoying.

This someone from this number called, when I answered, no one responded back.

It is Kids Wish Network, a charity.  Charities are exempt under the Do Not Call law.  However, if you ask them to put your number on their internal Do Not Call list, and they still continue to call, file a complaint with your state's Office of Attorney General.

We receive calls from - - - Texas  979-599-9985 - - - and no message is left.  We get a disconnect when we request that a message be left.  This is an annoying nuisance call.  Please try to get it terminated.  Thank you.

I filed a complaint and it only took a few minutes of my time.  Let get ride of these harassing calls.

The last time I got a call from this number I called back right away and after 9 or 10 rings a young man answered and stated he did not know any thing about any one making phone calls.I told him I did not want any more calls fro his phojne 979-599-9985 and then agin tonight,8/17/2011 at 8:55PDST another call and no one will say a word.I am dam sick and tired of this and it is time for law enforcement to take action against the owner of this phone.

These people just called and didn't leave a message.  I called back and after putting me on hold for a few moments, they answered as "Kids' Wish Network."  I'm blocking the number.  I agree, times are tough and I hate these sort of calls.  I give to charitable organizations when I'm able, but there are many worthwhile causes and I prefer to choose my own rather than responding to phone solicitations.

Have been getting several calls a day. I don't answer and they don't leave any messages. We are on the no call list also. How do we make them stop?

The reason no one is speaking is because they make multiple calls at one time and the one who picks up first is the one they speak to all others get silence then dropped.
